  • We're delighted to present to you the entire footage of a recent Masterclass we hosted featuring the incredible Rabea Massaad!
‪@RabeaMassaad‬ @(Bea) is no ordinary music college tutor. He is a titan of UA-cam and DIY music. His band ‪@DorjeBand‬ scored No.1 in the rock charts and went on to chart in over 30 countries. Rabea is man who does not rest on his laurels - his other act Toska scored a No.1 in the Bandcamp global charts and he is a key proponent in ‪@leolego‬
Rabea’s social media achievements are nothing to scoff at either, not only is he a UA-cam heavyweight, he is also a frequent star of ‪@andertons‬, a Chapman artist, the face of ‪@VictoryAmps‬ and a Neural DSP champion. He is part of the new breed of musician, going beyond the pale to continually innovate whilst performing, touring and espousing the DIY ethic. We’re very proud to have him as part of WaterBear, the college of music.
We know you'll enjoy this fantastic Masterclass; not to be missed!

My God, Rabea's intensity on the outro song was awesome. Watched this whole thing. Such a good and talented guy.

Sam and Rabea are both fantastic players. I love how seamlessly Rabea blends the lead, rhythm and melody in that opening track.

Any idea what tuning Rabea is using on that guitar ie drop D drop C etc.
I'd like to learn that opening track and some nice chords as well

I bought one of these guitars, sent it back the next day, I am afraid it is not worth anywhere near £1749. Looks great, that is it. It just feels not nice in the hands, volume knob is in the way. Neck feels fat, very uncomfortable. If you fancy one I suggest you try it in a shop first.

I’m a big fan of trying before you buy especially at a high price as you never know what shoe is going to fit just right 🙌🏼

@@WaterBear The other thing is, you will be lucky to get £500 for it second hand, unlike Gibson or Fender, and other named guitars that hold their value.

With Chapman you have a 50/50 Chance, it seems. It's either total hit or miss. I was fortunate enough to get my ML1 Modern Ltd with a beautiful "rainstorm blue" finish and it plays perfectly, nothing to complain about at all. Amazing Seymour Duncan pickups, stays in tune and the whole thing costed about 750 Bucks if I remember correctly. But I TOTALLY get why the hype went down with that brand and most don't want to take their chances these days even though their quality control got better, it seems.
