Holy fuck School Rumble that is a lot of nostalgia. And I made a mistake of googling School Rumble... it's fucking 15 years old since I first watched it. God I feel so damn old.
That stream was pure gold, as expected from smug-english-learner-Pekora. Aside from the "pain peko" mistake, another hilarious part was when the app played a League of Legends advert, with Pekora coming to conclusion the "lol" that chat spams so much its a League of Legends request. That solely made Moona jump on the chat just to say "lol".
She probably heard the reference before, but doesn’t know where it’s from. She knew cake had some meaning with lies, but it’s something only a small group of people use.
The true sequel has arrived! -Kenta is basically Takashi. -Pekora is nearly choking from laughter. -Once again she's cheating. -She can barely pronounce any of the words. Moona got it wrong on the "be stepped" question. The app was wrong as well because it should've been 'be stepped on' by a heel. "be stabbed" is technically the correct answer to fit the rest of the sentence.
I found Hololive through the pekora videos where she was laughing at the same game ( or similar one). Damn that was a year ago. I went back and checked the clips and man has she changed. For some members I can still imagine like the people behind them, but I could not imagine Pekora IRL. Like her charachter has merged with my visualisation of her IRL that I think I would freak out if I ever heard that laugh IRL. But anyway, its been an amazing year of Hololive for me, it really jumstarted my Japanese learning journey aswell and I'd just like to thank the clippers for doing what they do.

It's interesting how she seems to switch between Kansai and Kantou when speaking Japanese. You can really tell by the 「ラ・リ・ル・レ・ロ」 syllables, where she pronounces the consonant as either a non-rhotic R or a bright L depending on which Japanese regional dialect she's using at that moment. Also interesting how good she is at remembering all the different sounds each vowel makes in English, and which ones are appropriate for which syllables based on the rules of English orthography. For somebody whose native language only has five vowels which all make only one sound each, that's really impressive.
