Wow, it’s amazing they’re looking after you so well. Can’t imagine makes and models you’d get that well looked after either, even hyper cars. Just imagine Ford doing the same on a focus in that situation, you’d be lucky to get some free mats and even then you’d have to pay labour to get someone to give them to you!

Bump strip. Friggin genius! I taped string and a tennis ball to the garage ceiling after installing a home office in a quarter of my 2x2 garage. Can’t believe I didn’t think of it. Also looks a bit better:)
Love my Touring - drove it today and still the best of the range IMO. Yours was nicely specced so taking the cash was not a bad idea if you didn't gel with it.

Great update mate, great to hear you are going to take your Lusso back, honestly that car is just heaven!, I agree with your thoughts that they will be good news, I think people are sleeping a bit on them, but they will come into their own one day and your one is one of the best examples for sure!

He’s been doing really well and seems like a great guy…Otherwise if you do any trips to the US, Stradman is definitely one and he’s got a Murci if that’s still in your collection. And Manny K if you like him…have a personal connect for him if you want to reach out

Nice video Tom was thinking of swopping my 991.2 GT3 winged for a 992 Touring but based on this don’t think I’ll bother. True that there seems to be loads for sale not moving but often nicely specced - got to tell you something 😊
I'd keep your .2 GT3, a far more compliant package.
Need to buy a Dehumidifier for the garage, it will pull all the condensation out that forms on cold surfaces and they give a little heat, relatively cheap to run, some models turn off when it reaches humidity levels and you can also connect a hose pipe to permanently drain
Any tips on a good one please!

You be careful - that heater plugged into an multi plug extension lead could be a potential fire risk. Plug it directly into the wall to be on the safe side!! Cheers James.

Yup, Lusso and FF will become good news over time. The market has begun to wake up to them, especially with the Purosagne now appearing. Mad, v12, 4 seater, super fast, amazing sounding. The bargains of the range for now.

Did your 992 Touring come on Cup 2s? If my Touring, which arrives in January, is shod with Cup 2s, they'll be getting replaced with Pirellis before collection. Apparently the difference in ride comfort is incredible. I've also gone for 18way seats instead of buckets , Exclusive cohiba interior, and.. as far as I know.. it'll be the only Touring in the UK in Anthracite Brown metallic with neodyme wheels.. I sincerely hope I gel with it better than you did..
Keep me posted how you get on! Think the ‘problem’ is that I love my 997.2 RS so much, & have had a 992 Turbo S or two which I adored - Touring was always going to have to fight hard. Look forward to seeing your spec. If I was allowed PTS I probably would have been more likely to keep it and try more to love it.
@@TGE When you put it like that.. It makes perfect sense. Never driven a 997 of any description but I understand why the bar was set very high for the 992 touring. I'll let you know how I get on and share the spec. I have the sales manager at Porsche South Lakes to thank for the colour choice. I've come from a Huracan EVO rwd, which as you know is pretty hard riding anyway, so hopefully not any stiffer than that. All the best, cheers!

Just as an aside, you are not being forced to declare it SORN, you are following a legal implication. When a vehicle is taxed, under the 2004 Act, you are declaring it on the road, therefore you need comparable insurance cover. SORN just means you have no requirement for an on-road insurance policy in reality.

Quite surprised that you said you did not bother to tweak the suspension on the 992 gt3 touring because it would have been boring content - previously you have at times done long winded configuration videos and then not even bothered to order the car.
Config videos I can do at home. Stupid suspension videos are a day or two out of aggro

From an exterior standpoint I definitely think the 911 peaked with the 991. It looks so much better proportionally compared to the 992.

@@TGE no surprises there. All 992s are in my book good performing cars, but SOOO 😴😴😴😴. Much rather have an air cooled, or a 997.2 of some iteration, or a 991R/GT3T or just a plain T. For the time being just loving my @viola_gt4rs which is the most entertaining car Porsche has made to date, maybe with the exception of a 964 RS N/GT🤑
