I 100% get this, I have the same with my Focus 2006 ST I bought with my dad and then did road trips with my brother. Means more than anything to have it back after all these years... Great video Tom good to see it back on the channel.

I'm loving the fact that I'm now refered to as an 'OG Viewer' on the Channel now. Glad you haven't let that M3 go a second time Tom. It's a keeper. Edit - as for the steam off the bonnet in the rain, totally normal - these bays get super warm. Regard Carplay, get in touch with Liam at Carplay Direct, he's the most knowledgable on the best solution for these cars that use the fibreoptic system, not just a silly plug in aux cable - the Mr12v unit. I've got one, absolutely superb. Don't go with anything else.

I've driven 125k miles in a 2010 manual E92 M3 Monte Carlo, they are brilliant. Did laugh when the engine heat was raising the vapour from the bonnet and your slight panic. Happens all the time in cold p!55ing down weather - i.e. most of the time in UK.

Which “Airplay” unit are you planning to use? I have been considering doing it, but I have questions about the audio quality. I have been using Bluetooth via the “USB and mini-plug” and my iPhone. I have a LCI 2011 E93 but cannot play music via iDrive, I can get calls, but no other Bluetooth connectivity via the iDrive. Are you able to connect your iPhone to the iDrive and have functionality? Cut down F1 engine. And was it SMG. I actually enjoyed my e46 M3 cabrio with smg. But the soft top was a rattle sht box at 20 years old. So hard top for the win
