I did it as in the video through 4^11 - 2 = 2* (2^21 - 1) but then did the multiplications after that. 2^21 = 2*2^20 = 2* (2^10) ^2 = 2*[1024^2]. 1024^2 = (1000+24) ^2 = 1000^2 + 2*24*1000 + 24^2 = 1000000 + 48000 + 576 = 1048000 + 576 = 1048576 --> 2^21 = 2*1048576 = 2,097,152. Now 2^21 - 1 = 2097151 --> 4^11 - 2 = 2 * 2,097,151 = 4,194,302.
