Enjoyed your review 😊 Just a note for when you visit again, Hua Hin pronunciation, the “H” is very clear and would sound more like “Hoo-ah He-in” 😄 Cheers!
So… you landed in Bangkok and then immediately took a “4 hour” bus trip to HuaHin? Sounds like torture. I’d suggest you recover for a night in Bangkok (Ekkamai is on BTS rail line from airport) and then take 3-hour bus from the City to the sea. Ekkamai neighborhood is where I usually chill before catching bus from Ekkamai Eastern Bus Terminal following day, or daze.
It was a direct flight to Bangkok, so the flight wasn't so bad. We weren't exhausted (yet) We just wanted to get to our destination and wake up the next day already there. Its a nice idea though and we've done it in the past in other destinations. Thank you for the recommendation, we will definitely look into it for our next trip later this year.
Great follow-up video +1. We've never and WOULD NEVER eat pizza in Thailand or Barcelona 😊 (BCN is 3 hours drive from our home of 35 years 🇫🇷🇪🇺). Looking forward to Albania 👍👍.
We had cravings for pizza while we were in Thailand :-) We know a great pizza place near the Sagrada Familia that we just needed to go back to before heading to Albania.
Hey hey! Thanks for the video! My husband and I (also Israelis) are planning to go there in December-January to check if it's worth moving to Hua Hin for a year. Would you consider it as a good place to live in for a longer period? We heard lots of mixed opinions on that.
Hi and thanks for watching and the comment. We really enjoyed Hua Hin and actually think its a great place to live. They have all the services you need, including public and private hospitals and its only 4 hours from Bangkok by train or bus. We're going back later this year actually, in December. We were there for only a month, but we could definitely stay longer. Its a calm city, not crazy. Its a great place to relax. They have a couple malls and have all the brands you need. Food is cheap and good. Great beach. Tons of night markets. And if you ever need the thrill of the big city, you're only 4 hours away from Bangkok.
We tried a gym called Body Fit 88. They give you a 3 day trial. It was a nice gym. It was big and has all the standard equipment. Market Village has a gym as well, but was a bit too pricey for us and to be honest, it didn't seem that great. Those are the only two we checked, but there are more. Thankfully, La Casita has a "gym", but it was enough for us.
Who was your Abnb host at La Casita? I have seen some La Casita rooms available, some have prices that are a bit suspect. Just want to get a reputable host there. Thanks
we didn't pick anyone special. Just picked a unit and host with good reviews. It also helps to filter by guest favorites. There are tons of great hosts in La Casita and the price will vary by time of year. May/June is lower season and the prices reflect that.
We had breakfast in our room everyday. We bought groceries from Lotus's in the market village. They have breakfast places in market village, but I found the prices to be quite expensive
It was body fit 88. It's not a bad gym, we just couldn't find ourselves there. We just didn't like the layout and it was too far a walk from La Casita.
If you want to support me, a like or a comment, or share on this video would really be appreciated.
Thanks, i'm looking forwards to go to Hua Hin ✌🙏

Thanks. We've been told we don't say it correctly :-)
We can't get it right, but we'll work on it lol

Hua Hin is still our 3 month June-September slow stay-put destination for the future. Thanks again for your input to our plans 😀👍.

@9:13 The hot water always throws me off in Florida, I can only imagine over there. Thanks for sharing. Dropped a like for you!
Thank you.
It honestly felt like we were in a hot tub 😂
@@fulltimeabroad you’re welcome! Omg, really!
Really love your point of view! 😊 I'm adding Hua Hin to my list, maybe in 2025
Thank you! Definitely give it a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Did you notice if there were any good fitness centers or gyms in the city of Hua hin. I like to workout as I travel as part of my routine as well

Where did you guys have breakfast close to la casita? Love this followup vid. You guys are awesome.

@@fulltimeabroad In the basement is the food court - very cheap. It in the basement of Market Village.
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏
What's the name of the gym you didn't like so much in the city ? I'm planning to retire there.

Perhaps as a first step, you could learn how to pronounce the name of Hua Hin correctly.
Thank you for watching
