Buddy, Nice general wrap on what to see and do in Huahin. I would recommend anyone going to Huahin for the first or second time to watch this video before you arrive so you get a good idea as to what's going on about the city.
Hey mate. Another good video. When you leaving hua hin ??😂 I came here for a peacefull life....😂😂. Good take on the area. Lots of good eating places as well. Check out coco 51. Little bit more expensive. Cracking European chef. Nice venue on the beach. I have a few more. But there our secret 😂. Keep up the good work mate and don't forget to mention hua hin city. Local soccer ⚽️ team . 😂
Great video! Thank you very much we will be riding today to Hua Hin. We currently touring Thailand on Motorbikes making videos and this is useful for our trip
I just came back week ago from here. Weather was brilliant but be aware it’s jellyfish season while I was there from 24th October so you cannot go into the sea, no one tells you this. The beaches are not super clean but I love hua hin. I stayed at Pran Buri but caught a cab daily to hua hin in evenings
@@josh.onthemove Josh, are you going somewhere on Loy Krathong, and can you make a Video of it too ?. Would be great to see the Lantern going up to the Sky.
Hi Josh, Another brilliant helpful video. I’ll be moving here sometime next year for about 6 months and I’m gonna try all your recommendations. Many thanks 😊
Great clip n info, I’m thinking of heading to Hua Hin for a few days with my 15yo ~ I’m trying to make sure I include places n experiences he’d like to do because it’ll be his first time in Thailand so this clip has been really handy.
Interesting to see another persons take on Hua Hin, it's funny how we can stay in similar places and have different experiences. I stayed in La Casita where you are in the video for 3 months this year and have completely different recommendations ;-) I loved Thi Baan Bistro a short walk from Hua Hin Kitchen, which we thought was pretty overpriced for what it offered. On Soi 94 Morning Bread does a good value breakfast and a good Pad Krapow although the best one we had - was at C'Cup Home Café & Restaurant right down the end of soi 88. Also don't miss the pad krapow samosas at Baanbunma on the main road down in Khao Takiab, actually order anything here.. its all good and insanely cheap. A rooftop bar we enjoyed was Lost and Found down by Cicada (pronounced like the insect) night market. We found lots to love about Hua Hin and are booked to go back in Feb. It's certainly not just for old people.
Haha it is interesting, I think after a while you tend to gravitate towards the places you’ve enjoyed and the more places you go to which you don’t enjoy, just encourage you to go back to what you know you liked. Hua Hin kitchen always give big portions (by Thai standards) which is important for me lol! I’ll check out the places you’ve mentioned here, thanks for the comment!
Best Hua hin video I’ve seen so far ,… Thank you !…if I could ask you …. at (5:30) you showed a bowl of food with noodles and pork ? that looks incredible ,.. can you tell me what it’s called and what restaraunt ?…. Thanks again for all the recommendations !!
another great vid mate, you no this place better than me 😂 check out coco 51 for a good feed, similar prices to prime steak house, but better location right on the beach, nice and romantic mate 😊, if you like your indian food i can reccomend mukti hua hin, the owner worked in the u.k and oz, little bit different take on indian. very nice restaurant. near the black mountain turn off. keep up the good work. cheers.
Haha thanks mate. Added both to my list to try, Mukti has been spoken highly of so will head there soon. Coco 51 I’ve not heard of or been to before but will defo check that out too. Appreciate both 👊🏻
If you are down at soi 102 i can highly recommend this one: Soi 102 Nong Kae, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110, Thailand Its called Je Phueng Restaurant
Two👍👍 for the Burger place I'm on carnivore cut out the bun 2\3 fries lol. Be doing Hun hin and Da nang for a year starting 3/2025 With the help of your videos It's giving me a good lay of the land .
For training Muay Thai long term (couple months) would Hua Hin be better budget wise than Samui or Phuket? Was back and forth between Samui or Koh Phangan, didn’t even think of Hua Hin until i see this vid
Budget wise, HH would be better 100%. Being completely honest - your training options and likelihood of people living and breathing training, there’ll be a much larger amount of people on Samui and Phkt. I love HH but if I was just living and breathing training for a month or two, Phuket would probably be my first choice. You do pay a premium though, hope this helps 👍
INDIAN FOOD hot tip! Shiva up right from so i88. Better than Everest or any other I have tried. Fresher ingridients, really beautiful place Remember to get only 1 rice and 1 naan pr. 2 people. Good prices.❤
A retirement place....? Perhaps. I would rather not myself but that's another story. Investing in Hua Hin means money lost. It's a dying place. Clear to see already on the way up there that something is really off there and money is not interested in this area....Very boring little town on the wrong side of Bangkok . Way overpriced. Life is at the other side of Bangkok. So is vibrant bussiness.

Thanks Tom! Hopefully it’s a good start point for many people coming here 👍

Love that! Thanks for the comment

Great that. Impossible to fit more useful info on Hua Hin in 17:52! I reckon this will serve as a really useful reference video for a lot of people.
Much appreciated 🫡! It could’ve quite easily been 30 mins + 🤣

Nice one. Curious if you find it more difficult to find housing in high season (next couple months)?
It’s more difficult, better to book in advance if possible but places are still available 👍
Excellent video thank you
Thanks!

Try Mom's in Soi 6. The quality and prices were not to bad.
What type of food is it?
@@josh.onthemove Thai and western foods. The menu on their website is massive.
You forgot Fishing pier market Open in the week end
I’ve been meaning to go there actually. Is it any good?
