Thanks for the detailed steps and I followed them for my 86 vette. It was the coil in the end. Thanks I am sure you saved me a lot of money as compared to taking it to the dealer. I only spent money on fuel pressure tester, starter fluid, new coil.

@@justcorvettecrazy116 I don’t have the key for the doors ? Was looking into that maybe it has a securty for that also can I just replace them the door keys / or any way of bypassing the door security… it’s a 95
I have a 94 C4 Corvette it starts right up I drive it for a little bit motor gets warm or hot not overheating I shut it off 20 minutes I go back out there and try to start it it won’t start it wants to start but it seems like it is flooded so I let it sit for about an hour and go back out there and it starts right up it’s done it to me twice I had it in the shop put all new wires plugs timing chain New oil pump new optical spark I thought that was the problem do you have any idea I do have a SYS code because I had them put a new aftermarket stereo system In it but otherwise the car runs great no missing no backfire runs like a top even when I shut it off when I go back out there to start it up it won’t start it’s like it’s flooded thank you

Hey great video! I just came across your channel and you really know your stuff so I figured maybe you have come across my very weird issue. I have a 6 speed l98 1990 c4 that starts up seemingly only when it wants to. When it does catch, I have to blip the gas once or twice to keep it running or I hear the engine chug slower until it dies. It idles fine after this one blip. Once driving and warmed up, I can stall it as many times as i want (I am learning to drive stick haha) and it starts up without any issues. My only problem is when I first try start it without driving beforehand. Have you ever come across this? Hope to see what you think and again thanks for the content!
Every time before you start the car turn the key to the run position. You should hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds as it needs to prime the rails? Then try to start. If you do not hear the pump you might have a fuel pump relay issue. You can test this with a fuel pressure gauge. shoot me an email at justcorvettecrazy@gmail.com and we can discuss further.
1988 Vette vats is bypassed car makes zero noises when try to start if I manually put the start enabled relay on it will crank and run for 3 seconds and shut off any idea battery has 12.8 volts
Hey Bruce, Try to boost it. If it starts then it is the most likely the battery. If it does not start, you are left with 2 main options. 1.Bad connection 2. Bad starter or solenoid. Great videos, I thought for sure that this was my problem, however my fuel pump and relay appear to be working. I do notice that fuel pressure decreases soon after I just the car off. I know you mentioned that this indicates a leak, however how do I begin to trace one? Also my car will fire, however will not start unless I give it throttle to keep it running, After removing my foot, it dies immedately. do you have any suggestion as to where do I go from here? Much appreciated.

Love this channel, I have a question, I have bypassed my VATS system with the special kit, but my security light stays on, any ideas WTF is going on.

One question I have a 85 vette it was running great all day then I try and crank it in the night nothing. All I hear is just one single tick

Where is the grounding connection for the injectors?
I believe the injectors ground through the ECU. The ECU does not fire the injectors by giving them 12V. They fire by providing them a switched ground.
