I'll be stripping off the paint of a piece of furniture that I refinished that wasn't selling. I knew this was a solid wood piece and would look beautiful stripped and bleached. I'm using wood bleach for the first time and a Stick & Style style stencil for some contrast to the natural, bleached wood. I'm taking this dresser from English Country to Boho. Can I get it done?

The wood you left natural on the drawers is what really makes this!
Gorgeous, I love the transformation of the transformation! Leaving the raw wood, unstenciled strip on the drawers was absolutely perfect. I personally think it makes the piece! Adding the bar hardware echoes the horizontal stripe. Kudos, Christina!

Very cool! So much work! I especially loved that you protected yourself in the video! I watch so many videos with furniture artist using very toxic strippers, primers, shellac, bleach with no protection and it makes me so upset. They have no idea what they are doing to their health and their families health all for a beautiful piece of furniture! Thank you for setting a good example to future furniture refurbishers

Oh my goodness girl This is beyond amazing! It is so strange to see it and its original form, then the reimagined painted form and lastly the strip down all detail taken off new natural beautiful white stenciled and amazingly different hardware concluding to a piece that all three do not look like they could ever have looked like the others! Which is to me absolutely amazing hun 😍❣️❣️I would have taken it in either one of the redo ways that you did You are a great person to watch I love how informative you are to everyone out there who might want to try or do some of these things in techniques, and that is the biggest blessing in the world is to help and teach others what you do yourself. The two solution products like this seems to be a great choice for furniture.
I like the idea of using the wood bleach and the stencil. This project looks great and gives more good ideas for alternatives to painting every piece of wood furniture that comes along. Thanks for the tips. That looked like a lot of work, though!

Love the redo of the redo! I actually liked the way you originally did it, because that's the style I'm more drawn to. But the boho look is so pretty as well.

I used this color in Salem blue on a mahogany dresser 50 years ago tooooo cutesy so I repainted with dark China red and bronzed hardware. Loved the boho look also would be easy to redo when desired 👍🏻

Love that....just learned about the “gunk” as you referred to it...,I bought oak boards to make shelves in my kitchen....sanded down....put poly on and all these little splinters showed up!?
