TRAPAHOLIC [CHECK #8] - Beaver Pond Trapping!!! **Cross Overs & Drowning Sets**

What's going on UA-cam!?!? I'm back at the big beaver pond doing a little trapping. There is a ton of otter sign all around this pond, so I set multiple drowning sets on cross overs hoping to catch one. We make several catches in a short amount of time, but will it finally be an otter? Or will it be beavers & coons only!? Check the video out to get the answer!!! Stay tuned for more trap checks...

Beaver is super underrated.. would have never thought it is as good as it is. lol

Can you use snares where you live? If so you might want to look into those. I used to use them on beaver and otter at crossovers and they are very effective. Easy to set and light to carry all you need. Just an idea. Good luck

We can use snares, but they must be partially submerged in water. I've caught a beaver in a snare, but not an otter with one just yet. I'll have to try implement them more next season. Thanks!
