here in Russia we put all kind of stuff in our crepes! there are sweet ones - condensed milk, or chocolate, honey and nuts, fruits or jams - and savoury ones, filled with cheese and ham, or minced egg and onion, or rice and meat, mashed potatoes and shrooms, sourcream, ikura, even rice! i love those, you should try them out sometime~
In the United States most people don't eat crepes, even though most people who try them enjoy them. It's just not a popular food here in most places, though I'm sure there's regional exceptions.
I look at this and think that it would be very lovely cut in half, set on a plate, and decorated with a bit of chocolate/caramel syrup and maybe a dab of whipped cream, oooh. A fancy but simple dessert!

We have them in the philippines! You can add topping ands other things like nuts and cookies and of course whip cream!

Have you tried fried ice-cream. In Malaysia, we call it ais-krim goreng. It consist of ice cream stuffed in pastry and deep fried. nice :-)
