I have had right anterior hip pain for a very long time. I’ve been stretching forever. Well now I know I need to strengthen!!! I could barely do these so I’m going to keep going until those flexors are much stronger. Even if that flexor pain doesn’t disappear, my flexors will get stronger!!! Thanks!
Thank you. Hip flexors are usually one of the tightest muscles and because of the sitting they get short and weak. This is why you need to stretch and strengthen them. It will also help you with advanced calisthenics skills like V-sit, press to hs...
You were probably too tired already. After working on this for a longer period of time you will improve strength and will be able to perform also this exercise.
AHAHA here i am again to botherr you 🤣, i have one question and strangely it's happening only lately while in the beginning i haven't this problem and i was wondering why: is it normal that in the second exercise (especially the hold) my back start to hurt? Initially i used yoga block and i didn't have any problem, but in the last days that i removed them, my back is giving me this problem.
@@palmmytoothstory Hey I was doing some research yesterday and if you have weak hip flexors you probably have weak glutes. You have to work your glutes but make sure they are actually being engaged and other muscles like your quads aren't compensating. If you focus on your glutes or squeeze them before a rep it helps. I've already seen a huge change in my lower back.
