Ill always love the Tremoverb the most out of all dual rectifiers. Yes its a Rev G but something about the gain staging in that amp is just brilliant. Not enough of these videos really show the double stacking presence with channel cloning. Ill never sell mine

Hello There! just popped in for the sake of the 3CH owners. Disable the FX loop in the rear panel and you will get very close to the 2CH.
Of course the 2CH is better between the two simply because it has so much less components in the signal path.
However! disabling the FX loop on the 3CH and playing on high volume can get you very close to the promised land of tone.
Remember when doing so the output and solo pots are disabled!
Also preamp tubes play a very big role in the dual rectifiers. so either use stock(best) or as follows:
V1 - EH12AX7/Tung Sol 12AX7, V2 Suguang 12AX7, V3 JJ ECC83, V4 Shuguang 12AX7, V5 SOVTEK 12AX7LPS.

Youre trying too hard making the 3channel to sound like the 2 channel which makes the 3channel sound awful(from your perspective). The 3channel sounds fine if you dial it on its own. Heck i bet that 2 channel of yours would sound like ass if you make it sound as other 2 channel dual recs😂

Great inspiration! I hava a Dual from 2015 that i slam with à Gridslammer. Also have EVH iii, Engl Fireball and JCM 2000. I think they got way better from 2010?
What pre/power tubes do u prefer?
What eq settings do u use on channel 3 on the New Recto?

Actually, the original power tube is okay, And yes the 3 channel multi watt version its is Better

Good comparison. Thanks! IMO pushing the bass on the 3Ch boosts some unpleasant low mids and compression. If you're fx-loop has been modded to serial, I would go for a eq (say, like an Empress Para Eq) in the loop to bring back the missing bass in the vintage channel. My 2 cents!

Kristian Khole has a good video of matching a 3-Channel to a Rev F 2-Channel. He had to cut bass and mids from the 3-channel. Maybe some presence too if I remember correctly.
