I'm not so sure Udyr is Sejuani's father. The actual line is "He had sworn an oath to protect Sejuani, as a father would.", so while it's not specifically stated one way or another, it's down to interpretation, but the way it reads makes it seem like he'd protect her like she was his child rather than her being Udyrs daughter.

Hell of an old comment, but still, I wanted to add my 2 cents to this. I believe he is the father and the quote was not messed up. It seems like too specific of a thing to compare himself to. Not to mention that he advocated for Sejuanis mothers methods. Still might be wrong but the reason to believe he is her father is warranted.
Necrit did messed up the message, but it is a strong hint that Udyr may be sejuani´s father,
@@StopTheMoment1 As seen in the Ashe comics, the warmothers(or warmothers in training) of the freljord have multiple "oathfathers" so it really isn't that strange to be called Sejuani's father without literally being her dad.

Same,because it is the worst game that i've ever played and it only made me problems,i broke my monitor,my keyboard,a t-shirt,countless pencils and got anger managment problems,the lore is good tho,but essentially they didn't "invent" anything,i can find at least 75% of it's lore in other games(especially WoW)

Reading the story myself, are you sure they meant that udyr was Sejuanis dad? The line goes "He had sworn an oath to protect Sejuani, as a father would. " This COULD mean he is her father, but it could also mean that he would protect her as if he were. Imo it's not quite definitive. It sort of clashes with Sejuani's previously established backstory as well as him remembering he "met her as a child" Not really the description I'd go for if you meant being there at birth. To me it seems more like udyr took to the job as if he were Sejuani's dad, not because he is her dad, but because that is just how much he respects and cares for her.

if the avatar is corrupted the being behind the avatar must be corrupted they are the same the avatar is just a way to interact with others

One of the ancient weapons embedded in his back could be the darkin weapon spreading the void corruption slowly (hence why he isn't the standard type of melted corrupted), fits with the idea that the darkin wanted to see if they could kill gods, could have had a battle and after the darkin stabbed him with its weapon it took over using that, could also be why the lightning started in the weapons on the back instead of in the face and claws like the old story and splash art

It's neat how the Volibear update was teased this long ago. The many-eyed form at the end of the story is the free skin they released, it even talks about the weapons lodged in it's back.
IIRC the river town wasn't the home of the lost ones, it was just a town. Sejuani called the ursine to help attack it because it would be a difficult battle and the ursine were the best fighters. When their combined forces attacked, they took the town easily but instead of using it for much needed shelter much of the town was destroyed and it's people slaughtered. Even without being pledged to the Ursine Volibear's presence made the Winterclaw warriors extra savage. In the end, Volibear is putting their fallen enemies on spikes and Udyr finds him. He knows that, though they fought together that day, he and Volibear would eventually come to blows, so he takes the form of the ram.
The one in the middle of the thumbmail looks cool to me especially the bear I like bears thanks for more lore necrit I’ve pretty much finished any real world lore that intrests me so it’s nice to see good video games with great lore
And if that’s not actually a bear I’m sorry it just looks like one to me
i stopped playing league a long, long, long time ago. but i still follow the Lore thanks to you. if they make a RPG or something like that with all theses lores. 100% i`ll be back to play games from RIOT.

How about that for a character "death", it's so scary to have the void melt away the soul and body, leaving one of the freakiest type of amalgamations in league. Also must remark that this corruption seams like a mixture of "void attack" with "shadow islands incident", and monks do end-up suffering a lot in the lore.

Being a Volibear Main since his release , i find this story and theme transition really out of place for volibear. I mean he is a freakin' demigod of war! And his theme has always been that of a badass armored bear general going to war. Giving him the "he got corrupted by the dark" Theme would make absolutely no sense.
NOW! What I think and wish Riot will do instead for Voli that would be more appropriate to his theme in general is something like this:
After the great battle between seju and udyr vs the corrupted avatar of volibear, volibear's avatar is defeated and because of his relentless belief that 'he fears nothing', volibear will reform anew, now with the knowledge of the void being out there and also his believes changed to something like 'only through war and unity we can reclaim what's ours'
Voli is not corrupt, "The Volibear" is the very essence of war that represents Voli, not Voli itself, thats why it acts so different, is like the difference between an aristocrat that is pure culture and knoledge (like Swain) and someone that is just driven by their instincts and salvage nature.
