When did teachers become advocates? I graduated high school in 2002, saw my AP Gov teacher in 2019 and she still wouldn't tell me her political affiliation. Teachers are conveyors of facts and knowledge, not of their own political agenda.
Wish that were true. Taught for 13 years. Most of the teachers I knew were ignorant as hell and had a very very leftist agenda. Ideally teachers teach children to look for facts and make reasoned decisions based on the facts they have acquired. Introduce me to a teacher who knows how to do that, I dare you.
Same, graduated in 2018, and not only would my Gov teacher not tell us his affiliations, I still to this day can not think of any biases in his teaching, I have no idea how he thought and that is exactly how it should be
Same with my AP Gov teacher! Man, he was great. Everyone taking the class (which was more than 60 students, distributed through two periods) took the AP exam, and everyone passed- most with 4's and 5's. Mr. B was so engaging, making the material so interesting, that even though it could be difficult at times, kids were willing to work at it and actually study. He also facilitated genuine classroom discussions and debates over issues, without interjecting any of his own opinions. We got to know ourselves and our nation a lot better.

Intolerance toward those people to whom truth matters enough to actually allow themselves to be changed by it day by day should not be criticized. It takes humility, courage and wisdom to do so. (The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10). I hope you rethink your intolerant remarks and take responsibility for your actions in the future by not lashing out at someone just because you may disagree. We are not living in a banana republic and we certainly have the right not to be silenced when we share our perspectives. 😊

Im actually Cuban, my parents fled from there in ‘69 with my 4 older brothers, allowing me to be born in NJ 😂 ….later joined the Marine Corps and now proud to work to defend our beloved America. We have wholeheartedly loved the nation 🇺🇸that was gracious enough to adopt us and embrace us when it did not have to.
Yeah, maybe I got picked on at school but anything is better than your parents disappearing and getting tortured and shot because they said the wrong thing.

7:15 I was a male preschool teacher and director for 15 years. I had kids puled out of my classroom, too. But, I didn't whine about it. I had other kids who stayed, and I focused on them. I focused on what I had control over, not what I didn't. Secret for everyone... If you are going against the norm, you will face adversity. And another secret... It's actually good for you to face adversity. It reveals amazing things to you if you're mature enough to pay attention.
I like the "Ben is just a chill dude who watches videos with you" series. More stuff like this could be a bridge to the younger generation.

I do NOT agree. You’re wrong. It’s a major marketing tool and many people depend on it for their income. A lot of people would lose an awful lot. It would cripple certain people. I think it would be nice to make a living off TikTok, but I don’t see it as a career to retire from.

Watching Ben react to tiktoks never gets old
The floor doc in the brain trauma unit after I had brain surgery had been a neurologist in Cuba. He escaped, came to US with his family, worked as a janitor while learning English and redoing all his schooling. He was amazing and I loved talking with him.
Yes, his daughter (apparently a teenager) must have hated it. He told me he would tell her to enjoy having the ability to choose her path, since he had done all of this. I can't imagine the pressure to "enjoy the freedom" she had!

If you see a man with make up who is clearly confused with who he is, it is a good decision to remove that influence from your kid. The reluctance to leave the child in the hands of that man is due to his clear agenda ( gender can be changed) and nothing to do with his race.

Keeping on a leash here means: 1) no male acquaintances, 2) having access to her social media, 3) knowing her whereabouts. Doable, particularly if she has nothing to hide. Spy cams also help.

Yes. When you start a relationship with a person, that should be considered a sacred bond. I would never cheat on my partner. I don’t care if your partner isn’t good in bed, doesn’t show enough affection, cheating is the worst thing you can do. Being with another person and coming home to your partner is evil, no matter what any you look at it. BREAK UP WITH THEM. Not wanting to be in a relationship will hurt less and is also better than being exposed for cheating. Breaking up with a man may break his heart, but cheating on him will break his mind, body and soul as well.

7:13 as a parent, I don't want my kids being stuck in a classroom with a man wearing lipstick and acting weird.
Thankfully I moved after I retired, and to a very very red state. The teachers here are normal. We still have the pledge of allegiance, we have teachers who have concealed handgun permits, we have teachers who are Christians. Almost all of them.
We do have a few democrats in our town, but we know who they are and where they live.
So just to be clear, you DON’T believe other people should have the freedom to dress differently or have a different religion/political affiliation

Yes AOC, those thieves are always rushing to the bread aisle just to be able to eat 🤣 I know at our local grocery stores, they have all kinds of theft prevention on every loaf of bread because it is such a hot item! Our electronics, makeup, perfume, designer clothing/accessories, etc are *never* stolen because our thieves are all starving and just need that $2 loaf of bread that their $600+ food stamp card refuses to pay for!! If only there were programs in the US to help "starving" Americans afford food so they didnt have to steal bread- we would have *ZERO* theft crime in the entire country!!

There are plenty of addicts that work hard everyday to support themselves and their addiction. I still hope they take advantage of all the affordable treatment programs available in the US for their own health and happiness but being an addict doesn't automatically make one a thief.

Yeah sorry the dirty little secret is that you CAN'T be a mother and a CEO unless you have a husband that is willing to be the supportive one and look after the family just like male CEOs cannot be fathers without having a wife who is willing to support them and look after the family. The only other exception would be a family business but AGAIN one of the parents needs to be the primary caregiver.

1:28 Just want to bring to everyones attention that bookstores and libraries give 5-25% of a book to the authors, depending on what is agreed on by the author and the bookstore/library. So whether you don't directly buy a book from the author or you do, they're still getting the money they deserve, unless you get the book illegally.
