I’ve been making dish cloths for Christmas presents. Now I know what to do with all those extra little yarn balls that I have left over. This tutorial is very clear and I love how you show each stitch. It’s very helpful for a beginner like me. Thank you!
I am glad it was helpful. I was worried I was too close to my hands when crocheting. (I am normally pretty close so you can see things, but this one felt a little too close.) I am glad you could still see what to do clearly.
I love the design especially the loop that goes through the space on the other side to close. I like it much better than the usual drawstring design! Thank you for another great tutorial! 😘😊💚💛🧡❤💜
I can’t believe I did it finally I was so nervous but you video is great I just did one thing wrong …think I turned the wrong was as I was working in the opposite direction but turned out now to correct what I did on the next try….but your instructions were very helpful thank you 😊
I am having a terrible ltime getting from one side of the chain to the other I just can't seem to I grasp it but your intrusions are great it's just me not getting it
You said here in the video to repeat row 2 and 3 every time I get to row three and ready to repeat it just don't seem right so I when and view the written pattern on the written pattern it says to repeat row 3 & 4 which made more since so I assume the written is correct.
Great pattern but I'm really confused going from row 3 moss stitch back to row 2 double crochet (I'm in the 🇬🇧) and when I have to turn the work. I'm quite new to crochet so probably missing something simple. I even paused the video and wrote it down but can't get from row 3 back to row 2 🤬
The only difference from row 3 and row 2 is that one works the moss stitch first and the other works the single crochets first. We have to turn the work or our seam will not be straight.
@@WindingRoadCrochet I understand why I need to do it but I'm just not grasping how. I've been at it all afternoon and keep having to undo it. I'm giving up and having a cup of tea 🍵 😔
I also found this frustrating. I read the written pattern, which I thought was confusing; but I was finally able to make sense of it when I used both together. I got a few rows done and think I have the hang of it. I may start over to get the stitches more uniform.
I am glad it is better when I start the actual instructions. For newer videos I am turning up the sound in the video, I am not sure if I did that in this video or not.
You can find the written pattern for the soap saver and the matching washcloth here: www.windingroadcrochet.com/crochet-soap-saver-washcloth-pattern/

Love it! 2 different stitches in one project = Doble look 👌 ❤
Two sides for two different purposes. 👍
I like the way you did the loop. Thanks.
You're welcome!
This is a great pattern. Will be making a 'few' of these. Thank you!!
You’re welcome 😊
I’m an absolute beginner and my soap saver turned out really nice. Thanks for sharing this 🤗
Glad it was helpful!
This was just a bit challenging for me but once I got it I loved doing this up. Now to try it out in the shower!
Wonderful!

Great job!
@@WindingRoadCrochet when do you weave the end in at the bottom ?
Great gift idea, thanks!! Pretty soap too! 🧶💕🧶
Thank you! 😊 I make my own soaps. I might consider doing a tutorial on it because it is easy and fast and a great addition to a little gift basket.
@@WindingRoadCrochet I bet people would like to see that.
Very useful little project... Thanks! 🌸
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for sharing, it’s awesome. ❤️🌹
You are so welcome
This will make great gifts😊
It could be a Mother's day gift, spa basket or just a little self-care item for yourself.
❤ I love your tutorial thank you so much 😊

If you need to work 2 Sc into the last chain, that will help twist you around the end of your work to help you reach the other side.
That's very pretty.
How do I make it a little smaller (2 x 4) is there a certain multiple?
I believe you need an even number of stitches for row 1.
You said here in the video to repeat row 2 and 3 every time I get to row three and ready to repeat it just don't seem right so I when and view the written pattern on the written pattern it says to repeat row 3 & 4 which made more since so I assume the written is correct.
I would trust the written pattern. Sometime I get tongue tied in the video.
🙏
Tahnks
This is great thank you

@@WindingRoadCrochet if I am struggling doing the two different stitches can I just do one ( like the moss stitch) I just love your loop

Every beginning tutorials you cannot hear u at all ? Then it's OK once you start it

Have to look for written. Tutorial is going way too fast.
