I’m from China but I’m legally living in Europe now and I know some stories of this. I heard my friends (also from China) who are legally studying or working in USA complain why these illegal immigrant could get a citizenship faster than the legal ones who follow the rules and law? It took them almost 10 years (if not more) to finally get a green card, but it’s so much easier to illegal immigrant coming from the gate hole? That’s ridiculous and unfair. Also I want to point out that average person in China is still very poor regardless if he is a teacher doctor lawyer or whatever. Only the giant businessman or corrupted gov officials have money. All the rest are not as rich as you might think.

US Population is NOT growing as fast as the Government would like it too. There are three major factors at work. Life expectancy is falling, birth rates are dropping, and immigration has been low. This is why the Government is allowing for this to happen. Presidents in the past have always done this when they see the levels not increase as fast. Even Reagan did this.

My dad was a WW2 vet. When he had open heart surgery I was not granted visa to visit him. Waited 14 years to process documents by the embassy to join him in the US. 5 years later he passed away. Seeing this happening is a big slap and disrespect to all immigrants who went through required by US law. It’s very infuriating.

I’m a Canadian professional with 30 years experience in the global financial markets, and I was DENIED a work visa following an offer from a life-time friend in California to join his gold mining company. He sorely needed my expertise, to which we would have both grown the business, contributed to the local community and to social security, among other things. We wanted to do everything right, endeavored according to the laws of the US, and we got totally shut down; unable to even appeal their decision. Making matters worse, we were told I’d also have to leave the US if I was visiting legally on a tourist visa, which I was. Then we see stories like this…

As a foreigner who worked to secure a legit business visa, I find this really odd. I had to invest more than $2 million in my US business along with a ton of paperwork just to visit for 1-2 months a year, while these guys just crawl under a damn fence and the US authorities watch them like it's a pedestrian crossing.

I don't know the exact numbers but you can look it up. They also recently closed a public school in order to house migrants. I came here through the front door too, but we waited for over 7 years, after we got here we didn't quality for any benefit. All the illegal cut the line and received $300 per week since September 2023 and they all received free health insurance in CA since January 2024. We are US citizens need to pay for medical insurance and college tuitions. Our government need to take care of our own people first and then help others. Please wake up Americans!

As an American citizen, every time I come home from abroad, I feel stupid waiting in long lines getting fingerprinted when I could’ve just gone through a “gap” at immigration.
My dad is a gen X-er who was born and raised in China. Back then, China was still a really poor country and thus, my dad wanted to immigrate to the US. At the time, the only real way to come to the US from China was to get a student visa to attend an Ivy League level university. Thus, my dad began studying very hard and teaching himself english in order to come here. Same here, as a professional bilingual engineer and educator, it would be almost impossible to legally migrate to the US. Several family members from South America made the journey to Mexico and now live as refugees enjoying the "benevolence" of the system.

I’m from China but I’m legally living in Europe now and I know some stories of this. I heard my friends (also from China) who are legally studying or working in USA complain why these illegal immigrant could get a citizenship faster than the legal ones who follow the rules and law? It took them almost 10 years (if not more) to finally get a green card, but it’s so much easier to illegal immigrant coming from the gate hole? That’s ridiculous and unfair. Also I want to point out that average person in China is still very poor regardless if he is a teacher doctor lawyer or whatever. Only the giant businessman or corrupted gov officials have money. All the rest are not as rich as you might think.

My dad was a WW2 vet. When he had open heart surgery I was not granted visa to visit him. Waited 14 years to process documents by the embassy to join him in the US. 5 years later he passed away. Seeing this happening is a big slap and disrespect to all immigrants who went through required by US law. It’s very infuriating.

I saw this 10 months ago… and the California/mexico border was wide open. But out of 1.3 billion Chinese, 40,000 Chinese is very small. In 2022 2.4 million and 2023, 4,000,000 were catch and released. This is very small potatoes but these look well fed/dressed compared to central and South America economic refugees.
Keep in mind that the border fence isn't directly on the border. That smuggler's vehicle is on US territory and the "authorities" are doing nothing about it.

We wanted to do everything right, endeavored according to the laws of the US, and we got totally shut down; unable to even appeal their decision. Making matters worse, we were told I’d also have to leave the US if I was visiting legally on a tourist visa, which I was. Then we see stories like this…

All the illegal cut the line and received $300 per week since September 2023 and they all received free health insurance in CA since January 2024. My dad is a gen X-er who was born and raised in China. Back then, China was still a really poor country and thus, my dad wanted to immigrate to the US. At the time, the only real way to come to the US from China was to get a student visa to attend an Ivy League level university. Thus, my dad began studying very hard and teaching himself english in order to come here. He did his undergrad at Chinghua University (China's equivalent of Harvard), got accepted into a PhD program at MIT and finally immigrated to the States.
I don't think he'd appreciate seeing this.

Some of these chinese migrants are working in the illegal marijuana business in San Bernardino and other places because they have no other opportunities to make a living. The fact that california have legalized marijuana are encouraging bad actors that if the government allow that, why cant we do it as well. This is something our government should reflect on. We all know cigarettes, alcohol, and marijuana can have detrimental effects on people but the government still allows it. Why is that? Its driven by money. Please take notes people...
