      How is life in Norway? I'm seriously thinking of trying to move there from England next year. That's if they will allow me to move there at least lol

      @@matthewgraygublerswife9224 I'm more of a thinker than a talker :) I'm not anti-social but I enjoy my own company. I think I will fit right in.
      I cannot speak Norwegian yet though, but I am going to put in serious effort. My only worry is finding a job and somewhere to live. I am happy to work in a supermarket or something, I don't care what it is.
      Is immigration strict in Norway for non-EU countries?

      @@keighlancoe5933 life's great. In terms of moving to Norway it is advisable you come for a short holiday. Check out the locations as well as the buildings, agriculture and to a point just scan the environment, seeing people getting on with their days. Oslo is of course the inner city. Like London however there are 4 parts of Oslo. North, south, west and east. The east being the cheapest, but there's quite a bit of Swedish residents there. Full of very controversial opinions. As a general. Where as the south, central and western parts are the opersite. The north parts are good but not a lot of English speaking people their. Do communication may be an issue the more north you go. Overall speak with the Norwegian ambassadors in England and get information on travel guides, residential accomodation, emigration information, and they should be able to explain in more detail. Overall highly recommend come as a short holiday but have a look around as if you were living here. So don't just stay at hotels, rent an accomodation for the time. Highly recommend get a Norwegian bank account (normal id is fine). And check out the costs of living as well as jobs in Norwegian. Highly recommend environmental jobs as there are international companies that can accept mainly English speaking employees. However would recommend learning Norwegian and Norway's culture. Because there may be certain things you might find rude. But it's not. It's mainly a cultural lifestyle. You should be fine if you do this but right now it's covid, so do ask the Norwegian ambassadors about the rules. To get hold of them it's s Google search. There's a very responsive e mail team, as well as s phone line but they prefer emails. By the way to be honest with you if you even try to learn Norwegian as s British person and the Norwegian culture... you're going to be LOVED like a lot! And remember no one's perfect. It does depend on the people and majority of Norwegian people are open minded, friendly in context and absolutely LOVE British guys that learn the language and culture. Bokmål Norwegian is the easiest and highly spoken in Oslo.👍😅

      Same, I wish I kept up with it, especially the speaking part. I lived in Norway for 6 years as a kid but moved back to the US in '91, so it's been 32 years since I spoke Norwegian on a daily basis. I'm happy with how much of this I understood too. I want to go back and live there again :D

    Thank you, the level of these dialogues is just perfect for me! I speak some Swedish but not Norwegian and wanted to acquire enough of a feel for it to maybe understand some of what's said to me in Norway. (Without everyone being forced back on English.) I really appreciate your making this material available!

    The idea is not bad but the voices are hurting my hears: the female voice is so infantile, a high register voice like a 7 years old girl, while the man tries too hard to sound macho, with an extremely annoying deep and vocal fry voice.. obnoxious! And what about 2020?? All men are boss and all women are secretaries...really?? Come on!

      @@senoritabatanero4160 "don't put it out of the box" What exactly should I not put it out of the box? Just curious. People have different voices obviously, and so what? what's your point? That we should all sing? Both voices are obnoxious to me, this is my feedback, and if you do not agree I really do not care. What do you want to do about it? Reply to everybody that has an opinion different from yours? You are are funny.

      @@rogerjohansen2767 I said that to you because the focus of the video is not the beauty of the voices which you are criticizing harshly and kind of... exalted? for example... "sound macho" or "men are boss and women secretaries" or "infantile" Like, you know, these are a lot of your culture throw in these two voices that are not the main point of the video, just the tool. And they don't deserve your hard and bit poisonous words because you are not talking about the main objective of these two voices: are they comprehensible? clear? too fast? too slow? good pronunciation? its like... you go to a bar to have a drink and get angry because the waiter is blonde and have a scar in the face.

    • @rogerjohansen2767
      @rogerjohansen2767 3 роки тому

      @@senoritabatanero4160What an arrogant statement and also full of anger and frustration. A very good movie plot can be ruined by bad actors. What's your problem? My culture? Are you from Saudi Arabia? Where else is it normal that women are all secretaries and assistants and men are the leaders? Vocal fry and infantile women voices can be annoying, it's a known fact. Feedback is given to help to improve a product, and you should learn to accept other people's views. You are just channeling your own aggressivity into what you read. Are you a blond waitress that has been harassed? Sorry for that, but that it's not about my comments. Have a good life, I will not waste any more time.
