Alabama is one of my most favorite country bands and I used to work as security at the Tacoma dome and I met the whole band in person and I will never forget that day.
That's a wonderful memory - you should definitely keep it
All the show's i've seen have been at the Tacoma Dome. Good venue.
I saw them at the Puyallup Fair after Mountain Music came out and was impressed by how great of musicians they were. I ended up a metalhead in my teenage years but always remained a fan.
Alabama was what country music was all about. Their music transcends time!
I totally agree, they are my favorite country band

This is a great reminder of what a brilliant musician Jeff Cook was. The best fiddler in music history. I can never get tired of watching him play. Absolute legend!
Hello 👋 Rose. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Jeff cook is my cousin, when he wasn’t on the road he was at home playing music on his fiddle I still remember a 3 years ago on Christmas he played his fiddle and him and I came up with a song
Agreed, he will be sadly missed
I so agree!! Makes me cry now
Amazing he was!! No way else to say it
I'm still here in 2024 love Alabama
They are my favorite country band
Now THIS is country music!
Exactly! Have loved them and seen them so many times! God Bless Ya!

Alabama single handily saved Country Music in the 1980’s. I was a hard core Rock guy, but you couldn’t help but love Alabama. When it was a Friday night after the football game, and we were hanging out by the bonfire, tossing back some Budweisers, someone would put this song on their Pioneer car stereo, and just like that, this Rush, Journey, AC/DC, REO Speedwagon, Van Halen, and Sammy Hagar fan is singing this song at the top of my lungs along with 20 or so HS classmates and teammates! These were 4 extremely talented guys who gave us such a wonderful gift of their music. Thanks guys, this Rocker loves and appreciates your music.

Realist comment I've seen in along time 👍💯
Just good county music here. God Bless all
Hello friend
Randy Owen is the absolute best singer and a very kind man. I worked at Bojangles in Fort Payne many years ago as a teenager, and he would come in the drive-thru window and treat us all like family. He gave me chocolate coins one Christmas. Many years ago!!
That's a sweet memory.
When I first met Alabama.. I got to kiss em all’. .. it was just a peck… after getting autograph….. I thought that was pretty cool ..But when I came face to face.. with Randy Owen.. I melted .. like butter in a skillet 😅…
Hi Donna, how r you doing ?

The Rockstars of mountain music. 2023!
I first heard Alabama when i visited the USA in 1982 & they won most awards that year which i recon they earned so well, they are a fantastic group & i'm glad i've got their CD's because there aren't any radio channels here in the UK that play country music which is gutting.
Really, not one Country Music Station, are you young enough to make a show of change over there! Protest, make it happen!
Country music isn't like this anymore

Some awesome music has came to the USA from the UK too 😍 can't think of any country bands from your side of the Atlantic but the UK brought us the Beatles and Sir Elton John and Phil Collins and so many more like I believe Queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really Sheila and worked on this project rem the twin
When music was great, unlike nowadays. Legends will always be legends. No question.
Back when America was great also.
Right before i played this a Florida Georgia Line commercial came on I i thought how did from this great music (Alabama) to absolute trash music (Florida Georgia Line and Sam Hunt)
Todays music is not country. Sounds like pop and all girly songs.
Oh no, my heart is broken. RIP Jeff Cook. My all time favorite country group. Seen them 19 times. My condolences to his family. Will never ever forget you. You are a true legend. Definitely your #1 fan. Kelly Moyer.♥️🙏🎸🎶🎵😔

they had the best music, nothing like today, todays country is not country
I grew up listening to this band and Alabama made me into a country music fan. I have seen them in concert many times and attended many June Jams in their home town of Ft Payne but my mother takes the cake. She attended over 200 Alabama concerts and every June Jam. She passed away 3 years ago and every time I play Alabama I feel like she is right there with me. She left behind a box full of alabama concerts recorded on cassettes and signed memorabilia, pictures and more. Mom met Randy's aunt at the Alabama fan club and became good friends. the lady was as country as you get and was up there in age but she would correspond with mom through the mail(imagine that) and when my daughter was born she sent a letter and a UPS delivery. Upon opening the box we found a hand quilted blanket she quilted for my daughters 1st Birthday which was amazing and done by her very hand. It was very nice and took a lot of work obviously. Hard to find people like that anymore and we still have the blanket 9 years later and it is has never been slept on. They sold more albums than he Beatles and at one point had something like 21 straight number 1 songs. They wrote most the music themselves. These new acts are not the real deal like these guys were and Alabama has to be the greatest country band of all time just based on the 42 number one singles. I hope to catch them 1 more time in concert before it is all said and done but that may not happen with the members getting up in age. They were named entertainers of the year many times because their concerts sounded like the music on the album and they really knew how to put on a show. He broke the mold when god created these guys.
You have some great memories and treasures. My dad was a long haul trucker....i got to go with him in the summers for runs...owner/operator....best show I ever saw....Alabama rolled into a truck stop and shut it down...everyone there was treated to an impromptu concert. 18 wheeler had just come out.... one of the best shows I was lucky enough to see.

America’ Band! The greatest band ever
They are my all time favorite Country band ever. All of their songs are always hits to me. And they were a big help to Columbia, SC the time when Hurricane Hugo hit this state and they came and did a free concert for the city all they asked for was people to bring cans of food to give to those who were hardest hit by this bad Hurricane. Also, when Hurricane Hugo came in it knocked out all of the other radio stations in the state and city except one. WCOS The Great 98 they played their concert live on the radio. It was awesome. My family didnt have electricity for almost a month but I had this old portable radio and the only station I could get was WCOS and I had that radio blasting all night it made it easier for me to sleep.
