God knows how many beers were drunk sitting by the ocean having fun listening to good clean music from Alabama when I was in the Air Force. Forty years later it's still playing in my Jeep.
I’m only 26 years old but I grew up on country music and I love these guys it’s too bad Jeff isn’t with them anymore rest in peace Jeff, I always loved there vocals, and there band. Randy lead vocals is my all time favorite old generation singer. If so many top other old artists living and alive. In this song where the guitar solo by Jeff right before Jeff sings a small verse. My mother and grandfather grew up listening to this band. Forever grateful and thankful to have such a amazing band in loving memorie of lead guitarist Jeff. Prayers go out to the family’s and band members of my true iconic band Alabama
I saw Alabama play in a small dive bar in Roanoke, VA in college. They were on their way to Nashville to sign their first big contract. I remember telling a friend that I saw this incredible band named Alabama. She told me I was crazy and laughed and said nobody good ever plays that place. Was she ever wrong!
while they are great, they are not a band as they left the drummer that got them their and said he was never "really" in the band......really soured my mouth for them.
Alabama was and is the greatest country music band with that type harmony The Eagles are the greatest rock band with that type of harmony I wish they had all got together back in the day
Saw them last week live. Jeff has retired due to Parkinson's and Randy's hair has gotten greyer, but they still sound incredible for their age! Great entertainers :)
I never get tired of being a fan of Alabama, and their music, I love listening to music in my UA-cam videos my favorite song mountain music with alabama
this performance is stellar but seriously, what in god's earth are the three backing guitarists accomplishing. you got two electrics and an acoustic played by what look like session players and there's no indication of them in the mix.
I'm 40.. still remember going to fort Payne alabama to the June jam when I was a kid!!! biggest and best music festival ever.. wish this boys would start it back up
Jeff, please do the fiddle right. The first video of Mountain Music from probably the 80's you did it right. It may have even been the 70's. Wish I could do that, but it was epic.

Well being in Tennessee we are surrounded by 4 mountains and being close to Nashville, which is now NashVegas is where you can hear so many different kinds of country music and visit so many bars that are owned by Country stars
@@chadpatterson5872, I knew about Jeff. He still tours with them when he is able. BUT, I have never heard anything about Randy losing a child. Would you mind filling me in on this? That would be DEVASTATING! Thx Chad. BTW....Great first name! It's also my SON'S name!
