It’s been a while right ? I could totally tell that I missed filming these types of videos soooo much when actually painting this scene TT I couldn’t really find the time to film (and edit) since it’s currently almost the end of the semester it’s quite hectic and busy ….and there are so many assignments that need to be done so…I hope you can understand that. (It’s also mainly because I failed to manage my time but let’s not talk about that….)…
As you can tell from the title I’m painting another studio Ghibli scene in this video and !! The scene I painted is definitely from my all time favourite Ghibli movies ✨ I could watch the movie 24/7 and the track list as well as the storyline of the whole movie is just simply beautiful and amazing ✨ I even got the book of it (yes it has a book) to read more about the characters but…the movie is still a lot better in my opinion. If you can guess to which studio Ghibli movie this scene belongs to please do let me know !!
Also, as you can (again) tell from the title I actually tried out a new gouache set today !! I got the winsor newton gouache when it was on sale as a little gift for myself and was so excited when trying it out. It’s definitely on a different level than my trusty jelly gouache but I really loved the rich colours and the saturation of these so much 🙌 it was also really nice to see that the paint was able to be reactivated even after letting them stay in the little palettes for 3 days…talking about 3 days…yes it took me 3 days to finish this painting but if you count the time spent on it it’s about 6 hours to complete it ✨ I’m so glad tho that I was able to spend so much time on this painting and I really love how it turned out. I hope you like it as much as I do.

My favorite character is prince Ashitaka from Mononoke. He seemed very wise, although he was young. Despite he was told, that he´s gonna die, he still traveled to find out more about his destiny, which he sealed with his arrow. Fighting to help the harmed men and Mononoke. I love the scene when he talks to Moro in front of the cave. So calm, when she admitted, that she wanted to bite off his head. And of course, the way he treated Yakul.
The cat bus from "My Neighbor Totoro". Why? Seeing it run around makes me smile every time. It's cute and funny at the same time😆

I have never seen studio ghibli anime. But I like to watch your paintings and I like all your paintings. Such a relaxing video for me. I want to paint like you. 😌
To anyone that considers themself as a 'broke artist' just remember,, doing art doesn't mean you need all of these expensive products. I started painting 5-6 years ago. And i never had any of these nice products. I painted with kids paint. And i made some pretty nice things out of them. I waited 5 years to buy a nice watercolor pan. It was definitely worth it in the end. If you want to find a 'cheaper' but nice gouache try out HIMI'S Gouache. There is no shame in using 'cheap' supplies to paint/draw/doodle/etc.

My favourite studio Ghibli character is and will always be Howl, I don't know what it is but just the way he acts, the way talks and the way he performs his magic just makes my heart go crazy and he's just AMAZING! Plus, just watching him and Sophie together made me feel happy and so much better. His straightforward behaviour everytime and whenever he smiles at everyone no matter what the situation is. I just watched the movie last year after being scared of it as a kid but idk why i only just found out that the movies were so amazing!

My favorite studio Ghibli character is Sophie from “Howls moving castle” because despite what everyone says about howl she can tell that he has a good heart and tries to help him despite everything. She also sees the good in others such as turniphead and the witch of the west and she also has the heart to forgive what the witch has done to her. She’s courageous, beautiful on the inside and out, smart, has a good heart , and she perseveres through everything, which is why I love her. 💗💗💗

aaaah the scene is from the secret world of arrietty, i think!! i love this movie sm, the scenery and animations are beautiful and the plot is so sweet.
if i had to choose a favourite ghibli character, it would have to be anna sasaki, from when marnie was there. i relate a lot to her struggles with feeling normal and fitting in, and she was so strong and amazing throughout the film. when marnie was there has to be one of my favourite films ever, so anna is my favourite ghibli character!!
All of studio Ghibli characters but the one who comes to my mind is Setsuko from The Grave of the Fireflies for how sweet, caring and loving she was. She was that kept her brother's spirit high in the midst of some much pain. Her joy, enthusiasm and love were so contagious. 💛

I love Setsuko of Grave of the Fireflies because of her lovely character. She's not just a cute child in the movie but also a cheerful sister to her brother.

My favorite studio Ghibli character will always be chihiro from spirited away. She is very brave and has always grind her way through freedom, she is determined and whenever conflicts gets on her way she have always stayed strong and made right decisions. She was amazing, imy so proud of her.

My favourite ghibli character is Anna from "When Marnie Was There" she had a bad experiences with people 'cause she's adopted since a kid, but it doesn't affect her to explore some new things. She's really good at drawing and she always put Marnie at first and then she realized Marnie is her grandma.

My favourite studio Ghibli character is Sophie. I love her calmness in facing difficulties especially she just turned into an old lady. I've always believed there's good in everyone and Sophie's kindness towards the witch who casted a spell on her inspired me even more. Lastly, the will to protect the ones she love and not judge howl by his rumours is just lovable!
My favorite Studio Ghibli character is Sho from The Secret World of Arrietty, he is just sooooo calming to me, i could fall asleep listening to his voice and the way he talks. He is so kind and peaceful, i just love him🥺

Chihiro from Spirited Away is always being my fav character since I've started watching Ghibli's movies. I always amazed by how brave this character is at her young age, she can definitely do something risky but managed to complete it. Also, her intention to save her parents and how she deals with all the spirits bravely in that world is just so amazing. I've always hoped that I can be as brave as her.
my favorite studio ghibli character is definitely Marnie from "When Marnie Was There", i literally cried after watching the movie because i was so moved on how Marnie showed her love for Anna and helped her get through on the depth of her sadness and loneliness, our grandmother's really one of the best persons we can have on our side and in our life

howl from howls moving castle is my favourite! magic aside, i absolutely loved how his character is portrayed. i just think that he is so brave to face his insecurities and continues fighting for his loved ones.
Ponyo is probably my favorite character. I love the fact that there is a character evolution throughout the movie. Makes me think of personal growth, especially with my art. :)

My favorite studio ghibli character is shizuku of whisper of the heart, maybe because I relate to her in pushing herself hard to write a book but it didn't really came out great, but even though it didn't came out the way she wanted it to be, it still made her proud that she'd finish writing a book no matter how long she wrote it, no matter how many sleepless nights she found out what she really want, she found her own unique style plus the anime was really great.
since kiki's delivery service is my absolute fav and brings me the most comfort out of all films suprisingly fav character is jiji the reason might be how he continuously supports kiki while still being entertainingly sarcastic and smart mouthed
I cannot begin to tell u how much I enjoyed watching your video, the painting is so wholesome and on top of it the music made it feel even more special. Please continue making art and please continue in creating more videos. You really put me in a nice, happy, wholesome mood and inspired me to become productive for once. my favorite studio ghibli character is totoro. he’s so cute and has such a caring attentive personality. something about them is calming and care. they remind me of a friend i’d love to have one that lets you lay on their shoulder to sleep, protects you from the rain, keep a smile on your face, and keeps you safe. totoro is almost a staple in my life i also love the color gray so that’s always a plus !! My favorite characters are Satsuki and Mei from Totoro. I love the relationship between these two sisters, how deeply they care for each other, and the spectacular adventures they embark. Totoro is also my favorite childhood movie, and it’ll always hold a special place in my heart💛
Nausicaa as it's one of the first Studio Ghibli's anime I watched as a kid and it made me feel intense empathy for her and captivated with the beautiful scenary. One of a kind!

My favorite Ghibli character is Chihiro! I first watched that movie as a little girl and thought I looked just like her. Watching her go on such an incredible adventure made me long to go on one myself. Seeing what she faced and struggled through, yet eventually overcame, really motivated me and made me feel like if a normal girl could do such amazing things, then surely I could too. I always resonated with her moving and leaving her friends behind, as I had just moved right before I watched the movie. I understood her loneliness and frustration, but by the end of the movie realized that we can always keep our friends with us in our hearts. It's such a moving, beautiful movie and I will always adore it.
fun fact: The film is the film adaptation of book triology the borrowers of Mary Norton!! My childhood favorite!!
I love your Studio Ghibli paintings 🥺 Sophie Hatter is my favorite character because I relate to her so much. Growing up, I've always relied on beauty. I was always super conscious on how I looked. There was a time when I would not leave the house without makeup! As I got a bit older (I'm still in my 20's), I have grown to love and accept my flaws. Acne scars, eye bags, a pimple or two, uneven brows and the like, these are all part of life and I've learned to accept them. 🤍
Shizuku from Whisper of the heart is one of my favorite characters from Studio Ghibli. I love her bravery to pursue writing and the kind relationship she has Seiji. Its not the most exciting movie from the franchise, but I love the story telling from an 'everyday' perspective

I also love Chihiro from “Spirited Away”. Though she was a cry baby at the beginning, she eventually became a very matured girl as she had to face different obstacles without ever complaining about how difficult it was for her. She worked hard to get her parents back. By the end of the story we see a beautifully matured Chihiro, who went through soo much but was happy to get her family back, so she didn't complain anymore❤

Favorite studio ghibli character is Chihiro from Spirited Away. I just love how she develops her character throughout the story. From someone who is somewhat selfish to a girl who would do anything to free her parents and herself. I also love the bravery shown by this character. Plus, the genuine relationship and help she have given to those spirits in need despite of them being strangers is just amaziiiing.

I have two favorite characters, one is Kaonashi, and the other is San, from princess mononoke, I feel identified with her thanks to her personality in general, the way she protects the forest as it is her home and also those who inhabit him, her personality is a bit cold and indifferent in certain situations, but the way she manages that that is not a negative aspect seems fascinating to me Honestly, since it helps with her purpose of defending at all costs what she considers of great importance on a personal level, while maintaining her convictions❣

My favourite character is Chihiro. It was the first Studio Ghibli movie I saw, and you never forget your fist love 😍 I love her determination and her courage.
My favourite character from Ghibli is San from Princess Mononoke, because I like how the fact that she is a “wolf girl” unlike all the other wolf children, she is a female and in stories, it’s normally the male that gets raised up but animals (wolves). And another reason of why I like her is that she is brave enough to face all the problems within the woods and how she fight against human to protect the ones who brought her up.
When marnie was there and the wind rises is my fav they make me cry for the whole night🤧
I really love Howl! He protected Sophie because she was more important than anything else and that teaches all of us a lot about true love. :)
my favourite ghibli studio movie is from grave of the fireflies , seita and setsuko 🥺 because i like how their family bond is.. it always keep people touched by how the plot tell us their story.. and it bring the real meaning of how people loyal to their own responsible just like seita that always care for setsuko , his sister... its a really overwhelming and wholesome story :D

my favourite studio ghibli character is no-face from spirited away because he finds a place to stay at the end after being always alone. Even though no-face doesn't speak you get the feeling that he's happy at the end that he found somebody to stay with and not feeling alone anymore.
My favorite character is Chihiro because you see her character growth from a spoiled arrogant child into someone who’s mature. Plus, the story itself of spirited away is about an average girl who can accomplish anything. 💕

My favorite Studio Ghibli character is Chihiro -- her innocence brings so many comical moments to the movie.
I most identify with Little Bamboo (Princess Kaguya). Her journey towards obligation and away from a simple, blissful life really resonated with me.
Learning the value of something only after you run away from it because you think it is too much to handle. Learning that ignorance and simplicity in life bring bliss, but after you have knowledge, you cannot live that way anymore. Her loyalty to others (her parents) and what they expect of her. Taking on a certain role to make others happy, because she believes she can handle being someone else more than she can handle disappointing those she loves. Knowing that, for her, an ideal life involves no outer conflict, and so she does what she can to avoid this even if it brings her internal conflict.
(Dang, this reads really sappy and somber after going back over it. I promise I'm not that sad!)
My favourite studio ghibli character is kayoko from "who's left behind". It just taught me that I am so special one and I am having the power to console, to forgive and most importantly to accept the circumstances. It made me strong (although I was crying throughout the movie).

My heart yearns for Sophie Hatter from Howl's Moving Castle. What i love about her is that she kept on moving forward. She was strong with the challenges she faced, and i love her for that. That's certainly something i wouldn't be able to do!

Lady Eboshi from Princess Mononoke is my favorite character! She’s the antagonist, but she is so fun to watch and I love seeing her raw passion play out against the very serene, tranquil setting.
My favorite characters are Jiro and Naoko from ‘The Wind Rises’ their story was really touching for me and I never forgot it after watching the movie.
Honestly, I’ve never watched a Ghibli movie but I keep watching Ghibli painting videos because it’s so relaxing. If I had to chose my favorite character, it would be Haku from Spirited Away, simply because he looks ethereal and there are so many beautiful pieces of fanart of him.
My favorite ghibli characters are ponyo and Kiki. My first ghibli movie was kiki’s delivery service. I was like younger than 10 when I first saw that movie and when I first saw the movie it felt like home even though I had no other experience with ghibli movies or anime or other art style beside western American cartoons. Seeing Kiki’s self struggles in the movies just felt like something I would go through and it felt like she was talking to me on how to overcome self struggles and stepping away from your work to get better at your job and hobbies. Also I love witches. And ponyo for sharing so much love with others and the water animation was just so beautiful in that movie
For me in every animation of Studio Ghibli, they have their own characters. Idk which one would be my favorite, I guess I love all of them. But I think they all have a common, their characters are really brave, courage or face to the danger, really kind and sometimes really sad like “ When Marnie was there”. I love Studio Ghibli just simple becuz is beautiful and their movie’s music 😍.
My favorite character from Ghibli is Kamaji because he instantly takes care of Chihiro... He's like the grandfather i always dreamed of having ❤️
