How are you doing ? As you can probably already tell by the title of this video…I’m going to be drawing a scene from animal crossing today !! And this with pastel markers from ohuhu 🙌 a little disclaimer before I move on: we’re planning to make this video a series so that’s why the title says ‘scenes’ and not just ‘scene’…and that also explains why I am only drawing one scene as well ,, anyways enough with that ,,
I actually have been playing animal crossing too and I really enjoy playing it as well !! I mean my only job is to pluck weeds and clean the island since my sister miy is doing the rest (she’s in charge of doing anything else) but nonetheless…shaking trees has been very fun too ✨ Our island has evolved a lot and we’re really happy with how it looks like but Isabelle keeps on saying that it’s a 2 star island and I should be planting MORE flowers………….anyways…
I found myself admiring the art style of acnh a looooot especially the beautiful skies and after seeing the beautiful colors on sunset I reallllllly needed to draw this scene so here I am…drawing with markers..Again, if you didn’t know I actually used to be a marker fan artist and had no idea about gouache but now I find painting with gouache a lot easier than using markers but a change is always fun and needed right ?
I really enjoyed using the pastel markers from ohuhu and seeing the huge range of pastel colors made me so happy 🤍 as I mentioned in the video the set I used was the 48 set and the marker has a chisel tip and a brush tip which is really practical !! Thank you so much to ohuhu for sending me these to try out ! @your_local _bookworm not all art will be beautiful, but the effort and process behind each piece can make it so. You will not always pump out work that is deemed a masterpiece, but if you never try you will never have the chance to. My advice is to keep a sketch diary. Start sketches with light colored pencils and have fun with shapes. When you feel it looks bad, try your best to fix it. If it looks bad beyond repair, glue a stickynote over the mistake and draw over it.
I believe in you. Please don’t miss out on the opportunity to make art because you’re scared. I promise you won’t regret it, even when it gets difficult

I recognized a few of the songs in the vid! I have the mind of a jellyfish so I can’t remember the titles or anything, but I love listening to gentle piano when I draw (I find it most aesthetically pleasing in the fall/winter with a cup of tea) especially since I’m a quiet person and like to get lost in my art haha!

A little tip for drawing, maybe you can draw with a brown or another color (for example, using a darker purple) liner for the paintings^_^. I love your channel and every single video is so amazing.....
