Some breakfast that pal 👍, not sure about the beans and salad cream will need to give it a shot. You look like your having a blast down there so many different species on different marks, look forward to the conger session next tight lines 👍
We love a bit of bromance mate.😂😂 really enjoyed your roadtrip and merry xmas to you and all your lovely subscribers. May 2024 be the year of the boat...😊😊
Loving the series on the Bristol Channel.with regards to regards to rods I use a century fire blade (13ft) and got a Diawa Kenzaki last year which is a brilliant all round rod .keep up the good work Alex 👍
Cheers Guys … Have a fantastic Christmas I hope Santa’s good to you guys, thanks so much for all the videos this year really appreciate the effort you guys put in, take care guys and tight lines for 2024 👍🎣🎣
Another awesome video Alex fishing with Wayne on a cracking venue, happy new year m8 and all the best. I'm not in a financial position to go out and buy century rods or zipplex rods, Ive got a 14' Sonik vader paired with an sks 8000 f/s and I've got a 13' 6" Ron Thompson axellarator paired up with a slosh 30 multiplier, I'm not a power caster but I've been practicing the OTG cast to gain a bit more distance keep the videos coming m8 good luck and tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣
Hi mate, great little series of vids with Wayne. The Century tip tornado Match is an absolute beaut. Only 13'6 so may fit in the van as a 2 piece. It's a more solid and sturdy rod than the 6&b and the gb fs pro, it feels really solid with a 7000 sized fixed spool reel too. It casts amazingly well. The supermatch has a really floppy tip section, and the sport is really stiff, but the match is incredible, will fish mixed ground easily. Haven't tried the graphex range yet but the tt graphex sport apparently excellent
Another great video mate. I fish the Mersey 90% of the time...I use a Cobra TT and a Competition Match TT. Only had 4 sessions on the Competition Match TT but what a rod! Casts miles, sits well in the tide and still somehow manages to show bites really well. Some cracking deals around on them at the moment too...well under £300.
I had 2 meta~lite storms 13ft built by Richard holgate I think they were custom century blanks ,I’m 6ft4 and 18 stone they suited me ,absolutely lovely rods , My brother has t~1000’s but he’s a bit bigger than me ,,your a good caster Alex ,I changed to reel down the bottom and spent hours up the beach practicing casting , ..I looked at the new century rods they come with a price tag lol treat yourself ,,,you live every day and only die once 😉
Nice vid as always mate,my current rod choice is the Vercelli Spyra Grandezza,a nice 3 piece with a lovely tip,im not a great caster but people i know who can whack one out rate it highly, any rod in the spyra range by vercelli will put a smile on your face.
I use the Tronixpro Competition Match TT's. I have a pair of the 4.5's which I prefer over the 4.2's that I have one of. I find them great for strong tides, and they don't bounce about as much in the wind as my T900's did. There are some good deals to be had, and I picked up mine for less than 300 each new. Your doing well on the spotties, it's a shame that they don't get as big as the other rays as they do put up a bit of a scrap. Keep up the great work👍
Should try the century tip tornado graphex supermatch. I use mine from dabs to cod up here on NE coast then the graphex sport and my komp ss for cliffs and heavy rock marks
Another awesome video, 👌 proper jealous, never fished the channel but I think a trip next year is in order. Hope you didn't get food poisoning off that carrier bag 😂
I’m on 6&b8 blue. But seriously tempted by Century fire blade GT . Which is 1/2 the price of Wayne’s rod @320 horses 4coarse like you said. Great video. 🍀🎣
I’m a big fan of my Zziplex M4 GT’s but at just shy of 14’ and 2 piece they can be awkward to transport in a car/small van! I’m lucky with a Proace so it’s easier! I’ve just started match fishing again after 15+ years so bit the bullet and bought an Akios Airpower Mk2 430 black edition SRS which I have still to try out! By all accounts, it’s a bit of a beast but still with great bite indication!
i only use century rods exspensive but you only get what you pay for alex i use a pair of t1000 eliminaters on the bristol channel but we fish the upper marks of the severn estuary where the tide is a lot stronger some anglers try continental rods but they are not man enough for the fast tides i am supprised wayne diddnt take to a mark further up the channel but the cod fishing is not very good at the moment casting isnt about how big you are its the technic look how big wayne is and he can cast well but blonde rays have been caught at clevedon and portishead
That breakfast is my favourite meal yet that you’ve done, looked absolutely 👌🏻👌🏻🤤 another great video mate👍🙋♂️

I still have and use the rods I had 20 years ago an ABU hellbender my favourite and 2 zziplex beach casters and various other light bass rods,
Another awesome video, 👌 proper jealous, never fished the channel but I think a trip next year is in order.
Hope you didn't get food poisoning off that carrier bag 😂

I’m on 6&b8 blue. But seriously tempted by Century fire blade GT . Which is 1/2 the price of Wayne’s rod @320 horses 4coarse like you said. Great video. 🍀🎣

Nice fry up 😂🤝👍
Certainly filled a hole mate 👍🏼
I’m still old skool… I’m running a Diawa Whisker and Conoflex Cod 6…both on 7HT’s. 6’3, 19 stone….do me fine…👍🏻
I’m a big fan of my Zziplex M4 GT’s but at just shy of 14’ and 2 piece they can be awkward to transport in a car/small van! I’m lucky with a Proace so it’s easier! Sonik gravity x5 ht nice rod similar to the fury 15'4 bit more beef to them
You need a drone to get your baits out there.
Strike it 👍
Can't fault a fry up.
no blankety blank 2day
Whatever rod you buy, your body will adapt to it. They're not like gloves.
Nice one, happy Christmas to you and yours. Thanks for a year of great content. And hope 2024 is good to you.
Love the way you guys appreciate catching Rays, here in Australia we whinge about them and chuck them back!!
