Trudy, there are something that you have to ignore, addressing it just give these people more power to continue doing what they want to do, social media have brought out the worst in some people, and remember that empty barrels make the most noise, I don't think those person that posted those comments represent the majority of Ugandans, and you have no reason to apologize because you did not do anything wrong, don't ever let anyone make you feel less than who you are, continue to feel positive about yourself, and don't do any comparison between yourself and any white person, the problem is not you, those people have issues with themselves so they are showing externally what is internal - self hatred, stay positive, and don't allow anyone to take away your joy.

The truth remains, Uganda doesn't market it's national parks. Ask people around the globe, they will mention Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa etc. I am Kenyan as well, and it has never crossed my mind that I could travel to UG and take park tours. I am Kenyan too and I didn't know this.

I am from Zimbabwe and honestly thought in East Africa its only Kenya and Tanzania with wild game drives. Now because of Miss Trudy Uganda is now in my bucket list to visit. She really showcased the beauty of Uganda well done Miss Trudy.

I'm also a UA-camr and as a Kenyan 🇰🇪 honestly I didn't know that Uganda had a game drive, I never heard of any tourist attractions in Uganda, Even my Ugandan friends don't talk about any beautiful places one can Visit,

I am ugandan and till you discovered the game parks in Ug I had no idea we had them. I am preparing to visit the game parks next time I go home. My children will love it. For me I see it as an awareness. Just like Wodemaya did to our beautiful country now we have a lot of tourists visiting Namibia on a daily basis. Wodemaya even showed Ongula Homestead which is just 2km from where I use to work. Now because of the video he made ,I really want to go there and visit. There are many more places he showed about Namibia and I am just amazed by the immerse work he did for my country,is like another way of promoting our beautiful places to even us the Namibian. You are beautiful, you are intelligent, you will go far.

Jamaica is a little dot compared to Uganda, and many of us don't know a quarter of it. I am sure many persons, even in Uganda are not aware of one -tenth of what it has to offer. I am born Jamaican over 40 and there are a lot of things I learn through the eyes of others. I am very patriotic yet am not aware of every attraction the country has to offer. Sorry, but I can hardly sell my country to anyone, so if a foreigner experience something I haven't I say kudos to them, or put it on my bucket list of wanna try/ would do someday.

You are right coz I know us Ugandans we are loving but like any other country we have the bad guys too. I stayed in Kenya but there too are the good and bad people. We only have to do what we love the rest we let it be. I remember when my hand bad was emptied by a thief in those buses but a random person paid my transport in Kenya where I had just arrived. That is life and without both sides it can't balance.
