I was raised in Nigeria where you compete in everything and second place is not acceptable! I remember my parents had me memorizing the dictionary .. learning Latin and till today I’m forever thankful cause there isn’t a word or idea I do not know the origin off or history… I’m currently been living in the USA in oil n gas I’m thankful for how much my parents pushed me to learn.. today I’m thriving ! Because of that looting, the country only had its first power plant in 1964 and its first university in 1962, after the Brits had been kicked out. Nigeria probably has many more children like this. Free and compulsory education and universal health care would be a good start. Break the curse of the TAST and colonialism.

The reality is, yes she is a genius, but growing up as a Nigerian I've seen so much intelligence and talent like this but the vast majority never go far as nurturing is a big issue, I was one. Plenty end up doing different hard substances out of frustration, regret and neglect. She's from a well-to-do background so she got lucky and shine. But she is no exception, unique or an isolated case, just lucky to be positioned in the right background and capable family.
