REQUEST - As a audience point of view it will be great for us to have a single course in which we able to learn-
      1. Most effective ways to reading books
      2. How to develop and keep interest for subjects
      3. How to keep our mind focused while studying
      4. How to make notes for each huge subjects for exam in most effective way
      5. Most effective ways to retain information what we read and learn forever ex- If i am Law student where i need to learn so many sections and article numbers for each subjects corresponding to different concepts
      6. Most effective ways to testing and revisions.
      7. What world top learners understand at core and do which average people dont do and know.
      Love from India 🙏🏾

Through my observations of others, I have learned to drastically limit my phone/technology use. There are great meditations, high-frequency music, and people like Jim that expand the sovereignty of the individual through heart and mind. There are no pings or rings, and I make sure it is in another room except for limited use. I feel so much better, my sleep is improved, I'm in nature much more, and I don't worry or feel depressed. I love ❤️ Is the phone the tool, or are you the tool?

I turn off every notification for every app. I pretend like I’m in 1995. But I do stay in UA-cam a little to often.

The irony is that watching this video is digital distraction. I should actually be painting the shed right now, but here I am, being distracted.

Its true. More than helping in developing, most technology only provides more psychological problem

i have tried to better control the way i utilize technology so that it does not consume me to the point that i experience harmful effects like impaired concentration, but it has been difficult to discipline myself. i have tried things like dopamine detoxing before but my lack of self control disrupted the process.

I feel you did not address the issue on how one should focus.
I understood the distractions but did not get the gist on how to improve focus.
This is because I need the knowledge to apply in certain situations .

Imagine program that changes wallpaper from calm controlled fireplace when you use it wisely to fire hazard wallpaper when used for too much social media etc. Came to mind when Jim mentioned that tech is like fire and it should be used wisely.

Mindfulness meditation is your solution. Meditate every day.
Your thing is related with the "thermostat" that Jim mentioned at Timestamp 7:29
Unfortunately, it will get worse if you don't start putting efforts to tame your unconscious mind right now.

What if your in the tech field for work as IT cyber security or if you use AI to run businesses to make passive income? How would you balance this off brain health? I keep snake plants in my room and I don’t use the phone in the am when I wake up cold shower and deep meditation with mobility workout morning routine. What would you advise on top of these activities?
