Love this, Laura. So inspirational. I'm returning to photography after many years. Back in the day, I used to shoot myself a lot. One day, with a friend, I went into a really cool clothes shop that sold these really cool suites. I asked if I could try on a few, and if my friend could take photos. I told the gentleman, it was for a wedding reception and I need to show the party the photos because they too would need suits too. He said, sure. So, we had a good hour changing jackets, jumping around like fools, taking all these really cool photos. For the next few weeks I was buried in Photoshop creating some fantastic images. Good times, I must try that again hahaha. Love your videos. Thanks, Laura.

"When I started I didn't have people around with the same passion as me " that was my situation when I started photography and the only thing I had to photograph was me and only had my phone. I took a lot of self portraits and editing them is how l learnt how to use lightroom mobile. It never occurred to me that I could create a body of work based on self portraits. Off to work will be back when it's ready.

Just few days ago I took self portraits in my backyard, and tried different spots in my yard, near trees, near wooden fence and so on, some were very good, some turned out not good, and it is truly helpful, because I made some mistakes and I saw them right away, and tried to fix them, by moving myself to other spots, or changing pose

I love your videos, found you on Vero. I am wanting to download my images on adobe stock but I don't know how to import my photos to the resolution of 4MP - 100MP and the maximum file size 45MB. I did download the requirement page, but it does not explain how to get a higher resolution. Hope you can help me in how to enlarge my photos . Thank you so much 📸

Aye Laura what makeup do you use on your face, for your photo shoots?
Hola! It depends as I have different makeup foundations and eye-shadows. But I use a lot powders from Guerlain to reduce shiny areas of my face. For eye-shadows I use a lot “Too Faced”, and “Urban Decay” but ALWAYS using a primer (from Mac or Urban Decay). The primer really helps to keep the eye-shadows and eye liner intact for hours. 😊

Maybe you’re not aware but you have subtitles if you feel you need them. And you also have the option of slowing down the speed of the video. Unfortunately I speak fast and it’s hard for me to change that. I keep trying though. 😊
