That team was loaded on talent. I believe they sent like 14 players to the pro bowl that year. Still hurts to this day knowing chargers could of won it all that yeaf
These were some great times. We were the best team in the league in so many different metrics that year. Pts scores, turnover differential, and we had LT. Wow
I have been a Chargers fan for 38 yrs ! I fully believed with every win we were getting closer snd closer to the dream of a SB Championship , the play in the game against the Pats where we got the int snd then fumbled it back , that play was literally the only time in football where a game broke my damn heart man !! Lol 🤣 That was painful , as another commentor said " Thes teams were loaded ! Hiw they didn't get 1 damn ring is beyond me !! But no matter what it will always be " Go Chargers !! " Bolt Up !!
Hired the wrong coach. If they were going to replace Schottenheimer (which I was OK with since he sucked in the playoffs in his career) they had to find someone better than Norv Turner. Turner just wasn't the right guy to lead that team. Cost them their potential.
I used to argue with my neighbor across the street every time the Broncos played the Chargers. It was a yearly thing until his kid came out wearing a Broncos T-shirt and I yelled across the street "Hey Brandon! What are you doing with that Broncos T-shirt on..?" And he said, " My Daddy makes me wear it." So I told my neighbor I was calling child protective services.... I miss the Chargers....
I'm a Broncos fan. I was at this game. It wasn't a good game. LT broke a record and the Broncos completed a season collapse that was as sudden as it was complete.
This team almost certainly would have the won the SB if Marlon McCree went to his knees after his interception on Tom Brady in the divisional round. And I’m not basing that solely on their 14-2 record. The only obstacles left in their way were Manning’s Colts, who they eliminated from the playoffs the following two seasons, and Rex Grossman. It was all right there for the taking.
@@anthonyhutchins2300 patriots and the chargers were the only formidable forces, and if they had good special teams, they could have very well been a dynasty from 2006-2010

I remember being 15 and crying after we lost to the Pats at home in playoffs, still devastating.
I was there at 19, and the silence leaving that stadium was unbelievable.
The team. The uniforms. The possibilities.

Am I crazy for loving the Chargers unis in the 90s? Powder blue is absolute fire but I loved the navy blue
As a 20 years Charger fan, it was nice to go back and relive how great LT was :)
RIP Marty!!! Damn you, Mcree! Just fall down!!!

This isn't 'shortcuts' which condenses every snap; its NFL films. Still great to watch.
The last scene with Coach Schottenheimer got me.
Coach it was a joy to have you lead our team.
Rest In Peace Marty Schottenheimer
I wonder if that’s the 1st time Coach Marty Schottenheimer’s swept the Denver Broncos.
General Marty rules 😮
R.I.P...TO ..."THE MURPH"

Sure as heck miss you Steve , I’m sure they have football in heaven if they didn’t I’m positive they do now .
Marlon “bleeping” McCree
Keep them coming man. Takes me to my childhood
Isnt another 2 td one passing and one receiving ?

I have #34 Pinnoks helmet gameworn
There was one man standing in the way of ultimate glory: Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.
1 team. One man doesn't do it. Brady's team won games against the Chargers but Brady never lit it up. The Patriots won the games.
Do you have any Charger shortcuts from the 2004 season?
Sorry man, these are the only shortucts I have.
It’s a shame LT & Rivers never won a chip together. I blame bad coaching & even worse ownership

McCree was right to try and run the int in for a TD. It just didn't work out.
⚡️⚡️⚡️BOLTz⚡️⚡️⚡️
Dang this hurts to watch we all know they should of won 2-3 rings
Lol nah... The Patriots were just better. Rivers wasn't going to ever beat Brady.
Shut up

i still hate marlon mcree to this day
Dumb spanos. How do you not bring Josh Lewin back for radio play by play. He was the best and his calls are iconic.
