I agree I hope I can get a cheap Jackson kelly with a Floyd Rose and do my own work to it. I would paint it in Metallic sliver with sangheili/elite blood if you don't know what elites are they are from Halo and put in EMG 81/85 and some LED's with a Killswitch.

Ya need a kill switch integrated in the volume knob, kinda like s1 switches. Flat black looks sick on the Roswell, the black splatter looks cool (maybe better in person) but also kinda looks like soda spilled on it. Great work either way!

Purple metallic flake on black looks SICK as an alien theme on the Roswell.. also it rivals the look of the Gibson ‘modern Flying V’ but with the Jackson styling
I have a Jackson (I think it's an RR model v 211) and, it's painted gun metal gray,an has black hardware with a stop tail peace.I bought it from a local musician who bought it new,he had it for awhile and never played it very much.well, when I got it and started to play,I realized the fretboard was never polished & finished. The frets where so sharp on the ends they could cut my fingers.and I could never get it to strobe very well and the intonation is screwed. I thought this shape was awesome.so now it's just a wall hanger for display.some day I would love to refinish it and get set so I could actually get to play it.I loved the fact that it had a stop tail peace on it ,I was never really a fan of the Floyd rose tremolo it just Was a pain to keep in tune and plam mute on.well, if I could save the money I would definitely have it done by this guy.he is awesome....

I really dig your channel ! Gonna subscribe. One thing I would suggest is dyeing your fretboards to a more black / ebony look ( especially if the have a dark body the black fretboard looks better than the light rosewood ).

Buy a gravity fed airbrush,cheap primer gun and a intermediate paint gun. Buy your premix in an astronomical amount of colors from Sherwin Williams! They’ll cover muddying and spot putty better than you can imagine! The finishes are sure to cure hard as a rock! You’ll have no more tape issues to worry about,and the dry and wet coats by comparison will blow your mind! Ive been custom painting for over 20 years! I used to use rattle cans too till i started airbrushing and custom oak ti g graphics on cars. It was t till then i learned the true difference between rattle cans and auto paints! It will actually save you money almost immediately! You can do much more coverage with a beautiful fine spray that a can nozzle just cannot produce! You’ll never have issues with tape pulling on your graphic and dry times/curing will be cut in half! It takes a nice wet coated,gloss paint job a month to truly cure,what auto paints through a spray gun and airbrush take in just hours to a couple days! Think of all the pearls and flakes you have to chose from? Also you can start mixing flex coats fir plastics ,rubbers and urethane parts! It’s next level! Just make sure your airbrushes and paint guns are throttle controlled! I apologize if you’ve already implemented these things or already know what i mean!
So on the Roswell i think if you did a fade of stars beginning from the main point and ending towards the pickups would be amazing. Kind of a star version of the old dime bolt guitars. Anyway food for thought.

Is that a Perle body? I've been thinking about doing a project build, and have one of his Roswell bodies on my Reverb watch list. I think you should leave the tiger Rhoads the way you have it, there are a lot of tiger stripe themes I've seen on guitars, but never like that one, which is pretty cool. Another great video!!🤘🏻

i dig the tiger RHOADS over redoing it with another splatter, the splatters are tight, but that tiger look is far more individualistic and i like the color combinations.
I got a Roswell rhoads body for that dude too. but mines Steve vai hydro dipped finish now it has a baguley aluminum neck and bareknuckle juggernaut pickups haha
Part of me wants you to modify a les paul, but at the same time, i like the vintage look. I do wanna build my own Arctic white les paul with 24 frets, black pick guard and gold hardware some day
90s Jackson Kelly, oh yeah. I got my mine in 1998 or was it 1999 and I still have it. If I could only have one guitar it would be the Kelly. =) I also did some custom painting, syringe and thick red paint, it got bloody. =)
Nice work on the Kelly. The neck didn't need any work? I would have switched the controls around. Vol knob in the far spot where the switch is and the switch up where the vol is now.
Don't strip it down. It looks beautiful. Splatters are a dime a dozen.
The glitter on the Roswell is definitely the way to go. As for the Tiger Rhodes, I like the color as is.
