Hi there! I see some questions that were unanswered and I was curious as well; how are you keeping your cabinet from rotting? What paint brand and type did you use that would prevent root rot from humidity. Also, what is your advice if I wanted to seal all cracks on the cabinet doors?
You can also use yacht varnish or aquarium sealant if your worried, but if you have a fan you should be good to go ^_^ I've got 5 2nd hand cabinets that I'm going to be doing this to once we've finished building out house I can't wait
how did you seal the wood to prevent it from rotting? i tried this in a wooden display cabinet for one night, with the door open and a fan, and i could smell the mildew by the next day

I popped this in another question but yacht varnish is a really good way to completely water proof wood if your concerned about it also :)
Were ypu able to keep the wood from rotting with all the humididty

Hi! I used Command hook velcro strips. Two strips for each light has held them up fine!
