This is nice. I'm trying to do it outdoors, but I'm having a hard time, and now I can see why. My first caterpillar disappeared after it was so big, and I guess a bird ate it. Now I have 9 and just realized one of them was eaten by ants, I'm so heartbroken. I have more work to do. Thank you for your video.

The audio is just horrible

The salt is just an abrasive, add it to the ketchup to give it a little extra scrubbing power (if you're scrubbing with the ketchup. Like ketchup, soak, then salt and scrub to get the grime, then the cleaning step; either rinse and dry or rinse and basso, whichevs), use kosher salt for some large jagged granular scrubbing power as mortons is little smooth squares. Not a bad thing, just different. The acidity of the solution (whether you use ketchup, vinegar, whatevs) is just there to break down the organic matter (people oils 😁) portion of the grime or reverse any oxidative tarnish. So really, you have a whole plethora of substances one could use. JUST DO YOUR CHEMISTRY FIRST!!!! And you wont copper your brass like that white vinegar did.... (which was crazy! I didnt think itd be THAT strong! I wonder if there was some kind of galvanic/ionic reaction for some reason....I mean, beyond the zinc/acid reaction. still....weird....)

Very helpful tutorial. I am painting an open vanity, shelves, legs, etc. The best tip ever was to use Alkyd paint. Although I've painted many a wall, painting cabinets and furniture is different and I appreciate your guidance helping me to come to a successful finish!

I have been using acrylic from a very long time so after taking a long break from oil painting made me forget that this doesn't come off from water and I used my hand to extract paint to easily mix pain 🤦

Thanks for this video! Just got back from the paint store with a pack of flocked rollers. I cleaned it with painter's tape, washing and spinning and I noticed all kinds of very small fibers that were very shiny which I guess is from the material that the flock is made of, all over my hands. I washed the roller (and my hands!) again and the fibers were still there. I will give it one more wash before returning. I also contacted the manufacturer to get their take.

I'm painting a 24" x 24" primed wood board with water-based chalkboard paint. The paint is really thick. Some people suggest painting the surface with a brush first before rolling with a dry roller to smooth the surface. But the paint dries way too quickly for that. So, can I put my roller into paint and roll it on to my surface even when it's acrylic paint? I'm going to use a foam roller.

Don't pay attention to the naysayers wanting to let cats roam. They must live in Barbieland. We have cars, coyotes, dogs, cougars and the occasional bear. Cats can pick up diseases or get hurt. Feral cats have a lifespan of about 2 years if they survive winter. We also have a cat bylaw requiring cat must stay in your yard. Yeah right! Catio is an excellent alternative.

I’ve had the best luck with plaster of Paris and calcium carbonate. For best results with either one, you need to have a flat paint - not satin or eggshell or semi-gloss. FLAT paint. Bear in mind, it will take 30 days to fully cure and harden if you’re using any type of latex paint so you cannot guage a scratch test until then. It will scratch before fully cured. I always prime laminate regardless. Thanks for sharing!
