    if anyone has found early 90's gothic archive clips of club dancers, please share. Its seems tragically sad that NO ONE has ever documented early gothic dance.Those who know the amazing dance moves will know, it is like non other..

      @@JackDanyaKemplin unfortunately your docu *is not really it*..you have people talking about the history and architecture of buildings and talking about " the history" when what people really want to see is the EARLY GOTH 1980'S DANCERS AND CLUB LIFE...those obese individuals (no offense to their weight) are a product of the much later scene ..maybe the 2000's, those characters are NOT a part of the early 80's gothic scene, i can confirm that to you..all you have to do is look how they look and dress.and YES without the visuals, its a lost cause. So in a nutshell, what you've cut and pasted is the gothic scene when it already went *down hill*..you can tell this from the fact that the guys in the few seconds of club scenes you shot, do not know what they are doing in terms of the style of dance, the club scenes you cut and pasted resembles more of an "anything goes" circus scene that you find in clubs from a few years ago but its not 1980's...also you focus on the "metal-ish " side of goth like Marilyn Manson etc..its really too bad, all what you have put together is really not the eraly goth i was talking about, what you put together you can find it plastered everywhere..but hey i can see you docu being interested to the teeny bompers of today.

      @@karser6456 you clearly didn't look at all 240 files, there are things shot in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, interviews with Siouxsie, Specimen, The Cure, etc. I have posted all of those for everyone who wishes to see; if you wish to look at the list of files and find what you are looking for, they are there for you. If you choose not to look at the file list and see the years and names listed, and not find what you are looking for, that is up to you.❤️

    been searching high and low to find early gothic club dancers from the early 1990's days. If you know anything about the early gothic scene, you'll know that NO ONE danced better than dedicated goths from the 1990's. I used to go to a club in SF called CLUB X. The dance was so amazing from that time. Beautiful sensual, expressive and melodic hand and upper body movement. The goth scene of today is no more than a rave party with glow sticks and hard, chopy, kung-fu moves. If you have ANY idea where I could find any video clips of the dance scene from that period, I would appreciate your help.

      no school like the old school...I keep pinching myself for not attempting to archive and collect this original sub culture early on...even back then, I knew the early true-gothic dance moves were something very special, too bad no one actually bothered to catalogue it and make a video record..if the cartoon-bopers of today would see it, they would flip....unfortunately the goth scene of today is largely relaged to overweight girls that cant fit anywhere else..and so they go the gothic route to belong to some kind of sub culture..back then it was an exclusive "club" you belonged to, you were judged by how well you dressed and how well you danced, among other things - yes boys and girls the visuals were important..magical times, not like todays nerd-infested screenager society.

      @@karser6456 Yes, the visuals were important, not because it was shallow, but because it was an important part of the atmosphere. I still think that way, it is difficult to get into the right mood if you dress in a plain way.

    • @karser6456
      @karser6456 5 років тому

      @@MrFusselig You aint kidding...the whole point about the vintage goth scene was about dressing very cool but different from everyone else and ofcourse the amazing dance floor moves..its the same thing for sub cultures like mods/skinheads etc..its about standing out from the (ocean of) heard...but again the dance moves is what really set the scene apart. Its really tragic that no one's documented those early dance moves.
