I have used this for many many years! Just a tip you may want to use... you could add
    1. a few chips of Camphor - not only does it smell gorgeous but also camphor is great for hair growth.
    2. You may want to replace Olive oil with Castor oil for hair growth!

@@syameze2227 if you have an Indian store near you you will get them in form of small tablets. its called "kapoor" in Hindi. we use it for a lot of things.. crush a few tablets and add it to your hair oil, place one tablet near your pillow . helps you to breath better while you are sleeping. simply scatter in corners of your house for your house to not only smell good but also repel pests with the smell.

This is my miracle oil!!! The end of my eyebrows refused to grow back after getting them threaded 4 years ago. It’s was just a bare spot there this whole time. I used to cover it up by drawing fake hairs on them. It was sad! 😂 So I made this oil a month ago and decided to add it to my eyebrows 3x a week, I massage it in for a minute and went on with my day. And within two weeks of using this oil, the hairs started growing back in the bald spot area!!!! My eyebrows are looking fuller and healthier now. I’m going to continue for another month to get the results I want. Thanks sooo much for sharing this recipe!!!

To make it easier I would just use Nupur 9 Herbs Henna, which has:
Henna: it is a natural colorant with conditioning qualities. It improves the health of hair
Brahmi: Brahmi enhances the growth of hair
Shikakai: Best natural cleanser which also gives healthy shine to hair
Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is considered as the best natural moisturizer
Methi: It is a natural nourishing agent
Bhringraj: Makes Hair silky and soft
Amla: Amla is also an natural colorant
Neem: fights with dandruff and scalp infection.
    Hibiscus: Revitalizer for hair.
    Jatamansi: Prevents graying of hair

a optional simple mix: alma powder plus brahmi. Boil in water, then put the coconut oil and boil more...
Usually in the traditional ayrvedic method, first boil the mixture in water since the active ingredients are only soluble in water. Then boil in oil ... then filter

My hair was brittle and breaking. Another youtuber said to use mayo, honey and olive oil. Cover for 3 hours. THAT WORKED. Then I used this oil on my hair. It is amazing!!! I have very coarse hair, but this oil has loosened the curl pattern and made my hair soooo soft. I will in future though use avocado oil instead of the coconut oil. It dries my hair out and I think, contributes to the brittleness. THIS IS BEST OIL I HAVE EVER USED ON MY HAIR. THANK YOU.

I have a hectic schedule which requires I prepare these recipes in part. Well I prepared this hair oil and never got around to straining it. Found it in the cupboard and couldn't remember what recipe it was. I had forgotten to label it like I did the others. I added 1/2c of a Shea Moisture deep conditioner, covered my head with a plastic bonnet and went to bed. I washed it out when I woke up, and it did such a wonderful strengthening AND moisturizing job. I don't think my hair ever looked, smelled so good before and was so strong and dark. I have a few grey strands and they remained so, but that was great, because it doesn't look like I dyed my hair, but it was darker and shinier. I lost that hint of brown my hair shows when it hits the light, which is fine by me. Some of the best ideas come from accidents. Ha, ha. I see and feel immediate results with these recipes. Thanks for sharing them.

Noooo lol I just realized your dark bottle had water droplets in it, water makes oil go rancid and grow bacteria. This has happened to me twice as well as the Shea Moisture 10-1 hair serum that's made up of 90% water, it went rancid and begin growing mold. A quick fix is allowing it to dry by flipping it upside down on a paper towel or (for impatient people like) Dry it with a hairdryer for a few minutes.

I really want to achieve length to my hair and these ayurvedic methods seem to be the answer! Next, I will try the henna infused oil and hair growth oil. Patricia Strothers Hi. I’m new to this, but is having the exact measurements really that important? I’m wondering because I have very fine, low density hair and I only need like an eight of what she makes. Lol!!! Do you think I can make about 1/4 cup and really adjust the amount of each ingredient in order to not make it too strong...?

I love Indian stores, I was married to a man connected to India, so I spent time shopping for spices at the Indian market. I agree, the oils use to hit me as soon as I got to the store, plus they are used a lot in hair. I really get sick from the smell of Jasmine oil! But other than that I love shopping for great spices at the Indian market and curry is still a favorite of mine! :)

I made it, but how do I use it lol? Love love love your channel.
My hair would be so dry no matter what I did or what products I used. I then went to water only washing and the sebum was the perfect answer. After going through the process, my hair was NEVER dry. I could completely detangle shoulder length hair in 15 minutes in the shower. I loved it! But it was a lot of work to keep the sebum once I did my henna treatments (used for coloring grays). If you don't stay on top of that method your hair will get super dry. So I decided to search for something else...cause I'm lazy lol. Nothing makes my hair feel like what the sebum from my scalp made my hair feel like. It's incredible. It's like a coating and feels super healthy, but the coating isn't greasy at all. But I'm so happy I found you. I tried the growth oil and loved it. It is divine. It's the only oil that actually soaks in my hair and doesn't stay on top being greasy. I made the 4 detanglers and already seeing a difference in my hair!! Love the marshmallow root, etc #1 for my twist outs...And my hair is not dry. It's the best twist out I've had.
As a scientist, what do you think about the water only method, can you "do your thang" and share with us what you find. Is it safe, would you ever do this method why or why no? Thank curly you are my go to scientist for all my hair care :) Love you! Keep those vids coming!

    • @TheJanicetunes
      @TheJanicetunes 8 років тому

+Carmen Rojas Hi I use henna to cover my grays. I first clarify my hair. Then I mix good quality henna with either lemon juice, lime or tea. I find that lemon works the best as far as lasting the longest by really getting into the cuticle. The tea is the most gentle (less drying) but I have to re apply it sooner. I leave overnight to develop. the trick is to apply it before it loses its potency for the dye. You can do a hand test to know whn the proper time to apply. I usually leave it for 12 hrs. Then I apply and leave overnight. Hope that helps. Yes it covers all my gray :)

+Curly Proverbz I had to comment on your video! I truly enjoyed watching your video. 1st, Fresh Skin products are great and glad someone in the UK (you) did a video showing brands we here could use. 2nd. You mentioned very valuable info about mineral oil that I keep preaching to my friends around me, lol. 3rd. was looking for an easier way to make Amla oil without the 5 hour long process (Yes, 5 hours). 4th and most important, when I keep seeing bloggers talking about fractionated coconut oil, I keep wondering, haven't they tried mixing EVOO and Coconut oil to avoid it solidifying? In fact, any other light oil with Coconut oil does the trick! You are the only person I've come across that has let the secret out! Haha! Maybe cos I've done so many formulations and come across it. Oh well! Just was so happy coming across your video and thought to reach out. Also, adding Vit E oil should preserve the oil for longer. Thanks!
