Quality is fine from what I see. Fun little novelty Rc for those who have a real sized Rzr. Great for those who want some views on the you-tube. Better off spending the 600+ dollers on upgrades for a platform you can really have fun with. To each his own.
I work for polaris at the Osceola Wi drivetrain plant, this is modeled after the newer Pro R they are huge.. sitting next to a f250 the are not to far off.75 inches wide, 134 wheelbase, 16 inches ground clearance. 30 inches travel with the 1997cc 4 cyl..
Great unboxing and review doggy. I can see these things in a stock class at the local track filled with kids. Only thing you missed was those BFG tires, they are soft and light weight which means it probably rips out the hole but really would have been nice to see a ballooning test while you were at the video. Good job tho as I watched entire video.
It’s a pricing test for Horizon Hobby. Even though it has a lot of bells and whistles they are resetting the price point for a 1/10th scale rc. If the sales are good there will be more 1/10 scale RC’s to hit the market at that price point.
Yeah man,I can't believe people are paying that. I feel the Hammer Rey is worth the 579 price tag though. I bought mine for $100 off about a month ago and quite enjoy it. But you're getting so much more truck with the Hammer Rey lol.
@mike Morrow While it is a redesign, looks to me like it's a fully independent suspension. Which you could get with the Tenacity TT pro for 500. And the Tenacity does it better. When I bought my Tenacitys they were only $430 a piece! Then they started including the Dx3 controller and charging 500.
A local hobby shop tried to sell me one yesterday I'm not paying $620 for no 3s car or truck just my opinion at $620 I spent the extra money buy another x Maxx from Traxxas

It's awesome looking and running looks well made of course it's losi but no matter how you slice it, it's just not worth 620 in my opinion. 500 on the high side. Nothing wrong with it at all, I love everything about it but the inflated price. I also think this was made to be driven scale, so no hard bashing. Wait a few months and you'll get it for 400 like the fireteam. I don't think it will sell well since it's kind of a niche scale vehicle. Way too much for a 3s shelf queen.
Love the losi rzr I slapped in a 3900kv spectrum motor and 17t pinion with a reefs 444 servo. I ran against a Traxxas 4tec 3.0 corvette brushless stock and beat it with stock wheels by a hair so im guessing i was hitting around 70mph? Also added a motor fan.
I think it is awesome and can’t wait to see you run. I do think the price is a little high but I understand you do pay for a licensed body like that. Looks awesome.

Like what they was hoping would happen with the Lazernut. Losi fans will definitely be picking one up, a bunch of UA-cam channels will definitely pick one up, people interested in scale RC’s will pick one up too & like you said “collectors”. If a bunch of losi racers buy these I bet they will also start running little personal comps between themselves, unless they only focus on racing but they will still probably do it for fun if they can hold up to the abuse & it doesn’t need to be stripped down for cleaning & maintenance on a regular basis. If it takes up too much of their time they will dump it or stop using it. Lots to think about when it comes to vehicles like these from what is considered as RC racing brands. Very interesting to see race brands release scale looking vehicle that could potentially be good for bashing too 👍🏻. What’s it like behind the light sticker? Is it a couple of holes drilled through the bumper with LEDKs inserted? or is there an entire piece missing where you screw in a light buckets with the LED’s?

I would take the arma fireteam all day over this , i like losi but parts are expensive and to me they seem to break a lot, i honestly wish redcat would start making more stuff cause for some reason the vehicle's i have from them haven't had hardly any issues now i know the new machete i believe has something wrong but redcat pulled it for now and offered ur money back if you didn't want to wait for the upgrade which all honesty I don't see from any other brand and i have them all and if you want a list of what i got its pretty long at least for just a minimalist hobby guy not like some of these channels where guys have over hundred vehicle's so

It's actually a bespoke chassis design and suspension design. Has some Baja Rey DNA but it isn't the same chassis with a different body
