Would you say they're more expensive than the rest of the USA? I've been trying to wrap my head around some of these prices but they're all triple of what they go for around here 😂
What annoys me even more about inflated prices at conventions or anything in-person is that the ebay price usually includes conveniences and guarantees. Like delivery and money-back if there's something wrong. You don't get those things when buying in-person. You had to go there. You had to assume all risk. If anything, in-person prices should be cheaper! You did the right thing, haggling them down. I bet they were just happy to get the ebay prices. As much as I love the brick and mortar style stores, I had to cut back on visits because they were going over online prices and refusing to budge. Anytime I go these days, it's more for the experience. Almost all of them upcharge 10% or more on their games. :/

Matty you’re officially my favorite gaming UA-camr. You always keep it real and don’t make videos for the sake of just making them. More importantly you’re not just a game hoarder. You actually play and beat your games unlike (most) people on here. I say most because there are a handful like you. Cheers and keep the content pumping 👍

I like how he’ll read the back of the cases and flip through the manual. It’s what I do too. All of that is part of the collecting and gaming experience.
A few weeks ago I decided to start making retro content as I rebuild the collection I had to sell off a few years ago. I thought forever about a name for YT and social media and settled on Retro Rebound. Before changing all my social media names to that, I googled it just to make sure I wasn’t ripping anyone off and ended up finding your channel which I now love. Lol. I settled on a different name obviously and found another cool channel to watch out of it. Keep up the good work!
Great video! Gamecube collecting never gets old just expensive over the years! Subbed because I love the Gamecube! I'm still upgrading my cube collection even after 7 years of collecting.
Your Pokemon Colosseum pick up is crazy, I Bought mine from some random 2nd store for $30 bucks. Complete in box, also in pristine condition. This store didn't know the value of what they had; I got super lucky to randomly find this.
Been picking up a lot of GameCube games this year. Just recently found my missing game boy start up disc so I’m super happy about that seeing the price of those now.
You are in for a treat with Falsebound Kingdom. I got it as a kid as a Christmas gift and it blew my mind!! It is unique but very fun. And I'm happy to see another clash of ninja 2 fan out here. CLASSIC
The first Luigi’s Mansion was the literal first game I’ve ever played & finished. It’s actually lowkey scary when played in the dark… kinda like the Mario version of Resident Evil. It’s a shame the horror tone didn’t really translate to the sequels. Also unlike most games today, it’s a short experience! Seriously you could easily beat lugi’s spoophouse in 1 sitting if you really wanted to… which kinda makes it better as a horror experience? At least to me it does
I’ve never seen anyone talk about Falsebound Kingdom! I played that game so much as a kid, I remember being terrible at it so I was constantly starting new games. But man it’s so nostalgic
I still lovingly have my Pokemon Colloseum and XD Gale of Darkness on my collectors shelf. I'll never sell off my old Gamecube collection. Especially knowing a lot of the games are ones that collectors want now.
Just got a modded GameCube and now I can experience a lot of games that were priced out of my reach. Great video, just added the Naruto clash of ninja 2 to my micro SD card, what a fantastic game. Keep up the good work.

GameCube collector here! Actually I’ve been collecting video games my entire life but I never got to own a GameCube as a child so I just started my collection. I’m going CIB full North America. Since I started 3 weeks ago I have found 16 cib in excellent condition games that has set me back roughly $1,400 thus far.

Fact is their value has simply outgrown my desire to keep them and if there are clowns out there willing to pay $80 for my copy of Alien Hominid or Beyond Good and Evil… then so be it! Planning to only keep my Resident Evil collection on GC since I’ll actually still play them from time to time.

There is a lot of gold here like Turok, Crystal Chronicles, RE4, Starfox Adventures! The Scooby Doo games for the 6th gen were pretty well done, Unmasked had a great recreation of the classic intro with game assets! Great video Matty, just discovered the channel recently and I love the content!
That's so funny, Matty! I was just shopping for a Gamecube HDMI solution today. I'm thinking either the Eon or the Retro Bit Prism. I brought out my Gamecube after many many years and found all of my games. Well, except for one: I'm still looking for Star Fox Adventures. I have no idea where I put it, but I know I have it. And in good condition, too. It's the Player's Choice version, but apparently that's worth a bit of money.
I had a good pick up at a local thrift store, picked up Paper Mario thousand year door, double dash, resident evil 4 and Sonic mega collection all for $27. I couldn't believe it all complete in box too.
I got Turok Evolution for the Xbox and its a great game. I don`t know what those reviewers talking about. I hardly listen to journalist reviews anymore, i prefer reviews from the regular gamers, like from Metacritic, youtube comment sections and certain youtubers.

Gonna subscribe to the channel, I really enjoy looking back at classic games. Also, I live on Long island, idk about you but the market out here has gotten terrible. Unfortunately I missed the expo this year, but honestly I feel like I didn't miss out on much (as far as collecting goes). I haven't found a reasonable deal on anything out here in at least 2 years. Such a shame, because I really enjoyed making a day of going to the local game shops. Not so much anymore.
I've just started getting in to gamecube games, picked up pokemon gale of darkness and star wars rebel strike as my first 2 games. Managed to get gale of darkness for £70 which is really cheap in the UK. Can't wait to play them both!
We have a retro game store right next to GameStop called disk replay and they have every used console and thousands of old and newer games. They also buy tvs ipods random controllers and cords they ha a ton of games and consoles even got my gaming monitor from there got my $400 monitor for $150 because they just got it in and didn't have a price yet. It's a great place
That star fox was actually an n64 game called Dinosaur Planet, and then Nintendo forced them to slap Star Fox onto it. The nearly finished Dino Planet game for n64 released recently
love the pickups, as someone who just stared collecting gamecube gotta love the black label CIB's, looking to get my hands on YoYoHyper Drive but not willing to dish out 400$+ for it =(, dope video and looking forward to more gamecube content
I remember that Yu Gi Oh game. I remember when I played it I was extremely confused about the gameplay. I didn't understand why it was so different from the actual card game and show.
Matty, if you ever need someone to talk Scooby Doo with you, I'm your guy. I don't think a childhood show has made such an impact on someone like Scooby Doo did for me.
I bought the GameCube with luigis mansion when it came out after a year I had like 30 plus games had all the resident evil games, sonic the hedgehog games, Pokemon, Zelda, donkey Konga with bongos the wavebird controller but I sold it all to a guy from work years ago and I wish I hadn't
Never would I have thought the GameCube of all consoles, even Nintendo ones, would become one of the most unaffordable systems to collect for. Prior to 2020, I never would have thought they would shoot up the way they have. I ended up paying more than I wanted to for Paper Mario because my brother owns the family copy of the game when we were younger and I wanted to get my own personal copy now that we moved. It's sickening how much people overcharge. Thankfully I got semi-decent under $100 deals for Colosseum and XD each when I did because those were two of the most crucial of my childhood games where I wanted my own personal copy. The Clash of Ninja series is sick also. Totally agree with that.
Trying to get almost anything Nintendo, but ESP Gamecube games these days is just depressing. Would love to have Double Dash, Colosseum, Luigi's Mansion, and Smash Melee(Smash was stolen). Prob never gonna' happen for those prices. So glad I still have the Mario Partys, Windwaker, and LoZ Collectors, at least.

scooby doo! naruto! going to a swap tomorrow and your making me realize i need to bring more money, damn you (awesome video! keep em coming)
I subscribe to your channel bro keep up the good work
I had A MASSIVE CRUSH on the Hex Girls
I've been strongly considering buying gamecube games lately. I never had one as a kid.
i bought clash of ninja 1 and 2 recently and it’s just so fun😊
Star Fox adventures holds a special place in my heart
I remember that Yu Gi Oh game. I remember when I played it I was extremely confused about the gameplay. I didn't understand why it was so different from the actual card game and show.
7:08 The Falsebound Kingdom, not King.
Omg Pokemon Colosseum was my JAM. Totally forgot about this game
Went to a yard sale today and got a GameCube controller for $10 bucks, pretty crazy
Fun fact: night of 100 frights is the only game that Don Knotts ever voice acted in.
I bought Digimon Battle Arena 2 on the GameCube a couple of years ago, that is a hard one to come by…
Perfect video to watch after I FINALLY set up GameCube emulation on my Chromebook😊
Matty, if you ever need someone to talk Scooby Doo with you, I'm your guy. I don't think a childhood show has made such an impact on someone like Scooby Doo did for me.
Turok Evolution, from what I remember, is a cool game! It's also one of the bloodiest games the GameCube.
YOURE A LEDGEND MAN! i love how you take youre fucking time and talking about it! FUCK YEAH \m/
Scooby-Doo (night of 100 frights) and NFL 2k (i think 3) are my game cube nostalgia
Man I’m soooo glad I got most of the GameCube I wanted back in 2015
Been waiting for my GCHD since July !!!
Bro my mom and I beat the game one night when I was 7. Great memories
I’m hoping and praying that someday we get GameCube games on switch online
