Hello from Germany. 👋 Mr. Jason, I really liked your review of the Volvo V90 CC. You’ve explained it in great detail. I’m planning to buy a new car within the next two months, but since I have some issues with my right knee, I’ve ruled out any low-to-the-ground cars. I was only looking at SUVs (the 2020-2024 VW Touareg is at the top of my list). I know there’s the XC60 and XC90, but I didn’t quite like their designs. I’m 35 years old, and it has always been my dream to own a Volvo since high school. Then I thought of the "V90 Cross Country," and its higher ground clearance (making it easier to get in and out) is perfect for me. While researching on UA-cam, I came across your review video first, so thank you again. Best regards. 🥳
The size is a big part of it. The powertain is also slightly different. It looks like the V60 has the B5, which is missing the supercharger that the V90 gets. I haven't done a detailed comparison, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were one or two higher end features that are only available on the V90 and not on the V60.
Denim? In the video it does look very close in color to the jeans you're wearing when you were standing at the front of it , so I would say the color name is spot on. Maybe in person the color is different. Its a nice car but too much tech for me both inside and underhood. What made volvos so great in the past was the built like a vault simplicity & reliability, same with MB & BMW, but not true anymore. Very good looking car though.
Yeah, it's a little more teal in person. Doesn't seem quite denim, but maybe I need my eyes checked ha. Yeah, as cars push the luxury features more and more, they're just getting more and more complicated. And with Volvo being a luxury brand, they kind of have to push the features to compete. The powertrain, I also agree feels a little over complicated, but I think adding the electrified supercharger to replace the more traditional style supercharger helps to simplify things a bit and it all works well together. If I wanted simple and rock solid reliability, definitely with you, I wouldn't be going this route. But if you're leasing or swapping every few years and you want luxury, comfort, features, and some decent quickness in wagon form, it's a solid option.

Thank you for the comment, and the nice words! Im sorry to hear about your knee! Glad I could help. And good luck on your car search!
Thanks for reviewing V90 CC. I haven't seen much for 2024. Great review!
Thanks! Glad I could be of help!
Anything new?
The denim blue colour has been out since the XC90 was first released in 2015...
So the only differences between v60 CC and v9 CC are size of vehicle and engine?

Odd tidbit, the S90 is longer than the V90
Interesting! I love odd little tidbits like that. Looks like it's by a lot, too!
Super boring voice
Sorry man, that's how i talk. There's plenty of other channels
This is a car review, it's not supposed to be entertaining.
Super boring post.
