After watching this video I could kinda FEEL what you were doing, I took this to the course and shot the best I have ever done. The next day I ordered the e Bell . Thanks
I received my e-bell training aid in the mail today. Used it for about 30 minutes in around 7 sessions. Went out and played 18... Best I hit the ball all year. I could really tell the difference. Excited to keep using this and improving. To me this is the missing link in what Doctor Kwon is teaching as it seemed to finally get everything into sync and really activated my lower body in a way I have not been able to achieve before.
Definitely have to make the next model where the large flat part slides in and folds of some sort so it isn't so big. Like everyone is saying it's not something to travel with so it makes it not as wanted. Make it separate panels so it slides closed and locks maybe. Just a thought, but it is a cool aid!
I was just thinking the same thing. Great idea and wish him the best hopefully he can make it happen. Maybe put some fins on it to direct airflow if you do it wrong and he can use a lighter/cheaper plastic.
I don’t know how much “portability” is a real issue. There are lots of valuable training devices that aren’t “portable,” e.g. Explanar, mats, hitting nets, simulators, and on and on. The only training aids I take to the range are aiming sticks and sometimes a heavy club to stretch and gently warm up with. I could certainly use this at home. I think this is a great tool to replace kettle bell training and it lets you actually visualize the swing plane, something which is difficult to do with many training or heavy clubs. This in not a paid endorsement; I don’t own one of these devices. However, from a pure physics standpoint, I see how it works. If people think this device is expensive now, just start adding complications to design, manufacturing, and hardware to create folding models.
@@williamgothard9323- I agree. Don’t understand the portability issue. Where do you want to transport it ? If you’re going to the range, you throw it in your trunk.
A very good, very expensive tool for a body driven quiet hands action, which can be 80% mimicked with many objects like cutting boards, medicine balls, kettle bells etc.
Played 18 holes after swinging the board and must say it gives you the exact motion on your takeaway and the transition to down swing! Birdies on 9 and 18 were icing on the cake! Would not have happened without the improved swing. Shot an 80 and fiancé shot a 76! She was killing it!
This device does help me to understand what the french golf coach channel is trying to teach how to use body turn to propel the swing.will b good to do a video with french golf coach to follow up
You have used both an e-bell and a kettlebell, besides price what is the difference? They both get you to use the lower body. I love using the kettlebell like the way Dr. Kwon teaches.
So is this better for a person that does a more “gravity” golf type swing versus a more aggressive big hitter power swing? Seems like it would be an ideal thing for seniors and people with less power/strength.
It is good to balance out a player that has their sequence out of order. Some one that is sequencing up to down out out to in and needs help in flipping that to being ground up and in to out sequencing
Full respect to the inventor, but it is another version of weighting a swing sequence to feel momentum back and through. I use a 5 lb steel mace and can mimic the same motion with more similarities to a golf club. Cheaper too!
Yep. 3 or 4 short irons together same thing. Keeps the arms from being dominant. Strong golfers better off with a heavy swing weight! Much better tempo/sequence.
He said your head wasn’t moving🤦♂️ your head was moving 4 feet each way. Good luck with the trading aide , most golfers want to take a pill and think they can get better. The only way you get better is by putting time into your swing. Nice golf instructor. And I love your videos. My training aide is still the best I ever saw.
This is a lead lag takeaway and swing drill in a nut shell. You can do this on your own by putting a bat weight on the nosel of your club head. The problem is it makes you steep and very laggy. Can cause a massive flip unless you bottom out on the ball.
This has too many problems to ever take off. I feel bad for the guy as it might work great but for 1 it’s not portable. Unlike almost every other training aide. Very few people I believe are going to be willing to spend $350 on an aide they can’t travel with. Maybe this is good for coaches but not your everyday golfer. Sorry guys
I think you’re crazy! 😂 Firstly, if it makes me a good golfer after everything I’ve tried I won’t care how portable it is. Second, he’s just flown with it so it is portable. Third, when do I say “ where am I going to go to use my training aid”? I’ll use it in the garden or in the garage. Do you agree?
A bit of plywood and a few bicycle handles and I reckon I could easily make one in under 15 mins and save a fortune. On the other hand a weighted club could do the same job- we've all got an old driver, just attach some small weights and bingo !

👍🏼👍🏼Lots of good info in this video, glad you made it! Awesome training aid and I really like his concepts on using the lower body learned a lot!! 💰
Great demo of aid. Even better was mentioning of Mike Austin. ❤

Good idea. Ive been contemplating a more mobile version

I love the strange grip of the e bell

You can do the same thing with a dumbbell simple
Or kettlebell
@@zachzoeller7577 add medicine ball to the list
This would probably help my impulse to use arms to much in backswing, Guess you need the feeling of rotating body before arms in takeaway ?
8:00. No no, when you want to ramp it up the lateral becomes strong not the turn
8:17. Heave it back
9:14. It's only lateral, the force is lateral
13:45. Emphasize the shift
14:03. Shift, not turn
como has cambiado ese swing,,,much better compact efficient
Don't need the training aid. Just hold 2 or 3 long irons and create the same feeling
For the love of god do a shawn clement video
Thought the same as soon as he said it’s more of a toss
Can get the exact same feels from swinging a piece of luggage
I'm in REDONDO BEACH! Can I come to LBC and meet you and Mr E! I'll put it all over my social media.
I found a new use for my snorkeling flippers.
What weight is this compared to a kettlebell.
B. You need to go see Dan Martin again. 😊 T
Yeah I’m going to go up and see Dan this summer he is working on some new methods that sound cool.
Great, looking forward to it on your channel. Thanks!
Hmm. I just rubber and 3 or 4 irons together at the grip end and make swings. Same effect? Free.
THe Hat would always say "There's no UP in the backswing". There is the example
Great stuff...check out GRF golf. Very similar principals!
Why not just use a momentus weighted golf club? A lot cheaper and easier to transport.
This is exactly DrKwonGolf, isn't it?
Wax on - Wax Off !
Don't see this ever taking off at its current size and cost.
Seems like you can do the same thing with a #10 kettle bell

Kettlebells?
You could just buy a piece of rope 2 inches in diameter and get the same result

Let me bring my aide out to you , I’ll demonstrate and let the viewers decide on what they think is best
No it wasn’t

LOL!
I don’t know why the taller fella doesn’t know how to swing the damn thing hilarious does he not get it
Time to get back with Eric Meichtry for a new basic series. No gimmicks. Thanks!
See the issue is with every training aid you need a second eye to ensure your using the device correctly. No way you can do this by yourself.
$20 tripod for your phone, and shoot video.

Most likely for coaches and a small number of the average golfers.

I made it for $50.00! Works great!
Good for weak non arhletes.
Says "See how his head hardly moves" while head is moving a foot or more side to side.
It might be a good training aid but at $350... It's a rip off
"Aggressively priced" 😂. I feel he'd move more units if it was 50 bucks, longer for him to recoup his costs, but that's a him problem.
McMatis golf made his own for cheap. He’s on UA-cam
@@kurtheitman552 I already watched it . He should start producing them just like every one copied the sheftic board
@migmatisgolf is your answer
What nonsense
This swing trading device is beyond ridiculous. Take you Erickson Bell and throw it in a pond.
