Watched it yesterday morning - went directly to the course to play 18 holes - our range was closed due to rain - and applied the set up - felt power and got new and longer distance results with every club from driver to wedge. Thanks Danny...without a doubt the most valuable piece of golf instruction going. I've struggled with low point control for years. One minute I'm center punching greens from 150, next I'm trenching the fairway. This tip not only improved my distance by probably 10-20%, more importantly (to me) it has helped me hit the low point much more consistently. I am convinced that the elbow's point of contact with the right rib cage helps automatically calibrate arm position and improve my strike. As you say, our bodies are smart. As a side note, I recently wore a down vest to the driving range on a chilly morning and, combined with your tips, hit the best irons of my life. I've never gone ball, turf for an entire bucket of balls... albeit a small bucket. Again, I'm sure my brain felt that point of contact with my right elbow and helped keep my low point consistent. Thanks for all your great content!
Absolutely brilliant, Danny! And from a personal view: what a coincidence. After a long break in golf due to age-related knee and back issues, I hardly broke 85 for a year after being a, certainly not good golfer, yet playing off a low handicap. Nobody realized my right-arm set-up mistake and I spent shanking and pushing and pulling the golf ball for a year, being close to quit. The day before yesterday, being a stupid golfer, I coincidentally realized that set-up flaw, changed it and within a split-second, the game was back. If I wouldn´t have been so excited to be back and three-putted less, the scores would have been even better. Now, two days later you are posting this video!!! And what great two visuals to support the lesson!!! In my humble opinion, if there was a list of 10 UA-cam videos on golf you should watch before you die, this is DEFINITELY one of them. Can´t express how grateful I am to see your video. Thanks a million, Danny!!! You are an excellent golf teacher, have always been.
I watched this yesterday and today I took eight strokes off my recent average. My drives were much straighter and consistent. I wouldn't say I saw a big difference in power. Not yet. I believe it will take some time to get used to the change in my swing but I'm more optimistic now that I've been in weeks. I haven't been playing very long (about six months) but this tip really made a difference in my approach and my attitude.
As a beginning golfer, I find your videos very clear and informative. Something that would help me is when you demonstrate the swing at the end of the lesson, if you could do it in slow motion also, it would help a lot. The swing happens so quickly I have trouble following what you are doing. Thank you so much for providing this content!
Hi Danny - here is Fabio from Brazil. I started to play back in 1974 and since 1990 I play very little. Thanks for this good instruction video. As soon as this very hot heat wave leaves I’ll be back on the driving range and I’ll applied your tip to get more distance. Thanks
Congratulations on the one million subscribers Danny, I have been around for about 800,000 of them and I have also been around long enough to pick up a whole lot of great tips & techniques to lower my scores to which I thank you for. I am not trying to be a brown noser by saying that you are without a doubt one of the very best teachers of the game period. Wish I lived on that side of water so I could get hands on instructions to keep my game as sharp as it could be for a 65 Y.O. dude. Much love & respect from over here in Indiana & here's to a faster second Million.
I’m 70 now Danny and you have helped me go from a 104 to 94 shots in 8 weeks of watching your videos, this right arm position works for me, as I’ve not come across this before, it works across woods and irons, plus all your other videos for fairway woods and chipping / putting. Best golf teacher on UA-cam, keep up the good work and thankyou Danny
I've been following your videos for quite some time Danny, and you are by far the MOST talented golf coach on UA-cam! Thank you good sir for your content, and looking forward to next week's video!
Danny-Your lessons have helped me in so many ways but this may just be the "piece de resistaunce" . So simple but so necessary. Thanks for all you do for the golfing community. Stay well, stay safe-Russ
Thank you so much for uploading such helpful videos! They've really improved my game. I picked up golf about a month ago, originally to spend more time with my grandpa, and have really found it to be a fun way to spend my time. Over the past two weeks my swing has improved incredibly, from being lucky to hit a 160yd drive to consistently hitting in the 190-200yd range. As a young player, your tips have really helped me gain a better understanding of the sport! And congratulations on hitting 1 million, you deserved it.
I love the visuals with the dumbbell and the idea about splashing water. These are the visuals and cues that obstinant golfers like myself (who have been casting for years) need to learn and apply. sometimes I wish I would give up this game, but something always brings me back to it.
Drilled with this and your lesson on maintaining the space with my arms today. Wow! What a difference! So much better ball contact. It is not at all a surprise that you have a million subscribers! I've told all my golf buddies and kids about your channel! You're the best!
I love the way you teach! the examples, metaphors and visuals are perfect for me! I've been playing for 2 months now and I hit my irons consistently with my 6 iron going around 175 and my driver averaging around 240 with a max drive one time of 294! it is so easy to apply what you teach and I'm shocked at how fast I've picked up the game thanks to your teaching.
All I can say is that this lesson has helped me tremendously, improving my driver, hybrid and iron distances substantially. Of course, all your videos have been helpful, but this seems to be a foundational piece for me, along with your chipping and pitching videos. I feel there is real potential to improve my scoring now. Thank you!
Thanks Danny! I'm 48 and took up golf last January (living in Houston, TX) after playing football for years. Your UA-cam videos have helped me a lot, especially with Driver and chipping. Shot personal best of 87 on Saturday.
You are so right about the proper movement of the right arm being a skill, Danny. And it’s not an easy skill to learn. I’m 78 and have played the game for 65 years, and my right arm is still the nemesis of my golf swing. This is something all amateurs should focus on, as it is absolutely crucial to good ball striking. Congrats on 1 mil subscribers; well deserved! 👍
Why couldn't I have had this information shared 26 years ago? Countless lessons and unproductive range sessions! This is a true game changer for everyone! I've picked up massive distance while swinging easier using this method! Congratulations on a 1 million...Keep the videos coming!
Went to the driving range this afternoon to try out this tip and my how it works! My consistency and accuracy in hitting shots suddenly improved big time! I'm protecting an elbow injury so didn't want to go too hard into striking the ball but if I can keep up this new consistency then I can work on the problem areas with more confidence. Many thanks Danny and congrats on the One Million subs!
This honestly might be one of the most simplified/helpful golf videos I’ve ever watched and I love that it’s not like he stretches it out to reach 10 minutes for extra ad revenue… Your golf advice is always far better than anything else on the internet
Just saw on the congrats on 1 million subs - congrats from here in the States. Love this drill on the trail arm. Been working on bicep curl type drills with elastic bands. Never thought about the cupped hand splashing I did with the kids in the pool would correlate to a drill for the arms in golf. Great visual. Thanks for the weekly lessons/drills - watching is part of my Sat morning routine.
Danny, I played this morning after watching this video yesterday. I changed my right arm in the way you recommended. It really works. I was thrilled with many of my shots. Hardly any weak slices. One pull hook, but most were straight and long. Thank you from a 74 year old who loves golf.
@@DanielMaude I really appreciate that you take time for us seniors. At our club I estimate 75 percent of the regular players are 70 years old or more. Your lessons really help us.
Thanks, Danny. Watched this video just before a round with my kids and took it to the course. Started hitting the driver straight for a change, instead of always hard left. Still need work on my irons and short game, but that's next.
Thanks Danny, really topical lesson. Trail arm is so important yet rarely spoken about. Closing the face by rotating the forearm is another secret gem. So frustrating to do everything correctly but still push the ball right. Thanks for sharing. I know this’ll work for me. Splash😅⛳️👍
This absolutely works. I was doing this without knowing it several years ago and shot my best rounds. I went from shooting in the high 90s to staying in the mid to low 80s in one season. I was actually close to shooting in the 70s for the first time ever and my buddy mentioned it, so I ended up with an 83 (my lowest round.) I have not played in several years and decided to get back to the range recently and have not been able to remember what I was doing back then. Thank you so much for taking the time to make easy to understand content.
Love this channel and only subscribed a couple months ago, Danny has helped me so much as a casual golfer and I am confident I'll break 100 very soon as I was hopeless at golf. But after implementing a lot of the techniques shown, my ball striking is way more consistent. Congrats on the 1milly!!
Easily the best tutorials and explanations on UA-cam. Very easy to understand. Other channels waffle on and on and half it doesn’t even make sense. But I can watch these and easily take in the info and remember what I need to do I couldn’t even hit a driver properly and after watching one of your driver videos I was hitting my 3 wood off the tee 150-200 yds today, and going pretty straight most of the time consistently. Few mis-hits sometimes but I was miss hitting 9 out of 10 a month ago. Now it’s maybe 2-3 in 10 Just need to work on my irons now because I still struggle with clubs that aren’t a pitch/sand wedge, now I know why I’m struggling because you described the incorrect swing I am doing at the minute
You tube is full of people like yourself that want to help beginners or amateurs play better golf. Your the first one that dummied it down visually so now I understand the problem of correcting my bad habits and mistakes. Keep up the great work and THANK YOU. 👍
Hi Danny, I've really been struggling with the concept of the back-swing but the bicep curl comparison along with the splashing motion for downswing has really helped me understand. Looking forward to trying this now...
Another great teaching video to get important basics right! Thank you, Danny. Here's my tip to check out the curl: use a filled water bottle to get the feel for the move. Its weight helps a lot...
This single exercise with the bicep curl gave me a frame of reference that I was missing, allowed me to visualize my backswing and add more consistency to my shots, accuracy and distance. Thank you Danny you are the Pete Cowen of our generation. Cheers from California
Danny That is brilliant. I have started to do this a few weeks ago with my swing. It's amazing the strike quality but BUT BUT you are so right with the right arm creating a wave and straightening the face!! I know when I've done it correctly and when not ... driver slice right or pull left. This video is GOLD ❤ thanks for sharing 👍
I just got back from the golf range today and followed this bicep curl tip and holy crap. I've been trying to figure out what's been wrong with my shots and after I perfectly knocked that ball when I used the bicep curl technique, it was like the moment of epiphany. I was dumbfounded at the feeling and why every shot afterwards just kept being perfect. It felt so unnatural the first few times but by the time I worked it into the foot+pivot routine it all came together like magic. I looked at my wife after the third shot with my jaw dropped open and I swear I told her "Danny, my coach, did it again!" Couldn't be more thankful for your videos! I've been compiling a full Notion document based on everything so far and it's really gotten me miles
Thanks Danny, great video as always. I had my regular monthly lesson on Thursday and it was pretty much the same technique, with an additional drill of split hands on the grip. I found this much easier with the irons than the driver. Results were really good with the irons but work to do on the driver. That’s the beauty of golf though, you never stop learning 😎
This video! Whern I was young and played baseball, I was an amazing golfer. For some reason, over the years (mostly due to lack of playing) I lost my swing. I just couldnt get balanced/set and swing through. This video here fixed that. I feel like I am a kid again and able to get set before the swing and even direct the ball. Need more teachers like you in the world. Thank you.
1m subs!! 100% agree with the other comments … It’s been great watching you grow from strength to strength … amazing, personable, and engaging coaching style. I honestly wish I had you as a personal coach when I started out (probably couldn’t afford you now 😂)…. Well done mate 😊
Congratulations on 1 million Danny, well deserved, you make all your instruction easy to understand with your comparisons to other everday things. Thanks, keep up the good work 👏👍
Absolutely excellent feeling at address and in my backswing, made an overcomplicated subject for me to grasp extremely easy to comprehend thanks a million for this lesson kind sir!
I love these really mechanical breakdowns of how and why things work in a golf swing, it is how I enjoy learning instead of just being told something is the right way with no explanation.
Just HAD to subscribe Danny, the right arm thing worked for me instantly. Started doing it on my practice swings on the course yesterday and it made a big difference to my striking . Distance, accuracy and consistency ....shot 9 over par ! I'm hooked
Congratulations on 1 million. As a leftie who is right arm dominant I suspect it's my right arm which is doing all the work. A sort of back hand golf swing. I'm looking forward to trying what you suggest here. Thanks again Danny.
Peter… thank you for this comment! I’m a lefty that is right hand dominant, too. You helped me put this great lesson into perspective. 😊. And thank you, Danny. Your content is wonderful and greatly appreciated!
Hi Danny I tried this today for the first time and it really made a difference in giving me a solid more accurate strike with driver and irons. I hope it continues. Thank you😀
Thanks Danny, you are my goto site for practical tuition. One thing i also try to maintain and i think you have mentioned it is a 90 degree relationship between left arm and shoulder rotation.
Danny ! Thank you so, so much! That splashing sensation as you described it so brilliantly l, has transformed my game. I started playing golf at 50 , got down to 5 and now at 73 I’ve blown out to 12. I thought it was age that was crunching me. It wasn’t. It was technique ! The splashing sensation gave me the proper through-swing path that until now had eluded me. Now , I sometimes hit a succession of balls with the consistency of Moe Norman. Will love you forever and won’t mind if your fellow poms win the second test against my countrymen. Shame about Edgebaston 😂 For the sake of so many fellow struggling golfers, please reinforce that splashing technique in your future videos. I can’t help thinking it’ll help far more golfers than myself. If I get to travel to England, I would like to seek you out and thank you personally. All the best, Dennis Evans
The bicep curl motion added 15 yards to my pitching wedge shots. I am now hitting short par fours with the wedge instead of an eight iron. Thanks Danny.
What a video. I’m 69 and play the same course every week with a couple of friends my average score is 47 to 49 on the front and 49 to 52 on the back. I watched this video last night and just finished my weekly 18. Front 9 - 44. Back nine 45. Now as Danny says it’s a skill to develop but - Using these tips out of the box - imagine what can happen if I stay with it and perfect it. Thanks Danny!
Danny! I watched this lesson a couple of days ago. I realized that I wasn't bringing my right elbow into the right position before my swing. I practiced it some at the course today and it changed everything. We were playing a scramble this evening and I played a better round than I have in ages! Because of being able to get the accuracy and the distance, I was able to put our 4-some into the running for the top prizes. AND because of hitting the ball straighter and longer, I got us into position to hit 2 eagles on the par 5's...and we eagled both of them! This is without a doubt the biggest change in my swing in decades. I'm hitting longer, straighter and more accurately just be bringing my right elbow into the right position. I'm almost 64 and I am playing better than even when I was a younger player!!! Thank you for this wonderful tip!!!
Excellent demonstration and explanation Danny on the proper use of the right arm in the golf swing. I know the importance of the correct right arm position and its usefulness, but find that I am sometime negligent about accomplishing its goal. I like your "bicep" curl and "water splash" analogies. Something I will be thinking about next time. Well Done Danny! Your hard work is paying off with one million subscribers!
This dude knows how to explain stuff. Great analogy with the pool. I've heard it explained a bunch but that's the one for extension and not coming over the top. TYVM!
@@DanielMaude makes me wish I asked for a lesson early in my career instead of teaching myself how to shoot in the low 80s. Now, I am relearning the swing and shooting so much higher but the process is coming along. Blocking the ball for 5 years is a hard habit to fix and translate from range to course.
I've never seen your videos before Danny. I tried the drills and it felt very different from how I normally feel. Went to the range with my dad and WOW. It's like I was a completely different golfer! I'm not going to say I was perfect, definitely a lot of push slices but all of my balls were going in the air. I'm used to them skidding along the ground even when hitting with my 7 iron 😂 but I did have some beautiful strokes as well! Thank you for making this video! I'm excited to check out the rest of your channel
Danny, this video has helped me make better contact with my iron shots. Thank you for the work you do and congrats on 1 million subscribers. It’s a testimony to your great work.
One of the most important parts of the golf swing that isn’t talked about it enough. It’s was also the hardest part of the swing for me to develop. Once I was able to figure that part out it unlocked a whole new swing and game bringing me to a mid single digit handicap and dropping. Great video and explanation on a few feels and drills. I don’t think you can practice this part enough. Thanks for bringing this part in the spotlight and will definitely implement some of this into my practice.
Fantastic tip @Danny - it's the missing ingredient (for me) to get consistent ball-first contact. I had been concentrating on keeping my lead arm straight to get a consistent radius arc, but still managed to hit fat and thin shots. The crucial part for me was not internally rotating the whole trail arm at address, but keeping the trail elbow facing forwards and only rotating the wrist when adding the trail hand to the club. Thank you!
Another above-average video this week, Danny. I applied some of your right arm suggestions to my weekend game and it was helpful - led to a few extra yards and some added precision.
This was a great video on the placement of the right arm; congratulation on hitting 1 million subs. I think you and Rick are the only ones to hit that number for golf UA-camrs!

Thanks Linda appreciate the feedback and support 👍

Hi Danny - here is Fabio from Brazil. I started to play back in 1974 and since 1990 I play very little. Thanks for this good instruction video. As soon as this very hot heat wave leaves I’ll be back on the driving range and I’ll applied your tip to get more distance. Thanks
Wonderful to hear Fabio
One of my top 3 golf channels on YT. So happy that Danny got to 1 million! Simply some of the best instruction around.
Thank you Barry 😁
Congratulations on the one million subscribers Danny, I have been around for about 800,000 of them and I have also been around long enough to pick up a whole lot of great tips & techniques to lower my scores to which I thank you for. I am not trying to be a brown noser by saying that you are without a doubt one of the very best teachers of the game period. Wish I lived on that side of water so I could get hands on instructions to keep my game as sharp as it could be for a 65 Y.O. dude. Much love & respect from over here in Indiana & here's to a faster second Million.
Thanks for your kind words Joe 👍
What Joe said....
a big agree to that, I`m 63, and really like Dannys videos, simple explanations👍👍
I was the millionth subscriber but didn't win anything except free golf lessons. Not bad!
@@ssparko7776 😂
I’m 70 now Danny and you have helped me go from a 104 to 94 shots in 8 weeks of watching your videos, this right arm position works for me, as I’ve not come across this before, it works across woods and irons, plus all your other videos for fairway woods and chipping / putting. Best golf teacher on UA-cam, keep up the good work and thankyou Danny
I've been following your videos for quite some time Danny, and you are by far the MOST talented golf coach on UA-cam! Thank you good sir for your content, and looking forward to next week's video!
I appreciate that! Swifty thanks for your support 🙏
You get to the point and explain everything clearly. No wasted time in your videos. Well done.
Danny-Your lessons have helped me in so many ways but this may just be the "piece de resistaunce" . So simple but so necessary. Thanks for all you do for the golfing community. Stay well, stay safe-Russ
Thanks Russ 😁
Thank you so much for uploading such helpful videos! They've really improved my game. I picked up golf about a month ago, originally to spend more time with my grandpa, and have really found it to be a fun way to spend my time. Over the past two weeks my swing has improved incredibly, from being lucky to hit a 160yd drive to consistently hitting in the 190-200yd range. As a young player, your tips have really helped me gain a better understanding of the sport! And congratulations on hitting 1 million, you deserved it.
Thank you William appreciate you taking the time to comment and share your story 👍🏌️♂️
Good one to come back to, I became disillusioned and depressed last year, but I'm back and ready to keep learning. Thanks Danny.
Sorry to hear that Roli happy your back 👍 and hope the video helps ⛳️
I love the visuals with the dumbbell and the idea about splashing water. These are the visuals and cues that obstinant golfers like myself (who have been casting for years) need to learn and apply. sometimes I wish I would give up this game, but something always brings me back to it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Drilled with this and your lesson on maintaining the space with my arms today. Wow! What a difference! So much better ball contact. It is not at all a surprise that you have a million subscribers! I've told all my golf buddies and kids about your channel! You're the best!
Thanks so much for the support
I love the way you teach! the examples, metaphors and visuals are perfect for me! I've been playing for 2 months now and I hit my irons consistently with my 6 iron going around 175 and my driver averaging around 240 with a max drive one time of 294! it is so easy to apply what you teach and I'm shocked at how fast I've picked up the game thanks to your teaching.
Wonderful to hear Ben, thanks so much for taking the time to share
Just got into golf and your videos have helped me so much. Also just realised you're half hour down the road from me and now I want lessons!!!
PAY THEN !!! LOL
Out of all the tips on youtube this one has helped me the most. It has totally transformed my long iron , woods and driver game.
Awesome to hear
All I can say is that this lesson has helped me tremendously, improving my driver, hybrid and iron distances substantially. Of course, all your videos have been helpful, but this seems to be a foundational piece for me, along with your chipping and pitching videos. I feel there is real potential to improve my scoring now. Thank you!
Wonderful to hear Jerome
Thanks Danny!
I'm 48 and took up golf last January (living in Houston, TX) after playing football for years. Your UA-cam videos have helped me a lot, especially with Driver and chipping. Shot personal best of 87 on Saturday.
Amazing Craig well done
You are so right about the proper movement of the right arm being a skill, Danny. And it’s not an easy skill to learn. I’m 78 and have played the game for 65 years, and my right arm is still the nemesis of my golf swing. This is something all amateurs should focus on, as it is absolutely crucial to good ball striking. Congrats on 1 mil subscribers; well deserved! 👍
Thank you Larry! Appreciate the support 😁
I’ve heard a similar tip from Jimmy Ballard with his brace connected address.
Danny your visuals are excellent, camera angles, slo-mo, repeats, size by sides, lines on screen, close ups tied to your distinctions... THANK YOU!
Thank you Tamara happy to help 😁
Congratulations on your 1 million subscribers Danny. Your the best coach on UA-cam it's well deserved 👏👏👏
Thanks so much for the support Dave, you’ve been with me for a long time and I really do appreciate it
This honestly might be one of the most simplified/helpful golf videos I’ve ever watched and I love that it’s not like he stretches it out to reach 10 minutes for extra ad revenue… Your golf advice is always far better than anything else on the internet
You are very welcome Willie, hope it helps you too
Danny, I played this morning after watching this video yesterday. I changed my right arm in the way you recommended. It really works. I was thrilled with many of my shots. Hardly any weak slices. One pull hook, but most were straight and long. Thank you from a 74 year old who loves golf.
Amazing! Well done William
That’s a great start Austin well done
The best teaching / lesson video content on youtube, simple! Thanks Danny, I'm trying this now!
Awesome, thank you Andrew
Thanks Danny, really topical lesson. Trail arm is so important yet rarely spoken about. Closing the face by rotating the forearm is another secret gem. So frustrating to do everything correctly but still push the ball right. Thanks for sharing. I know this’ll work for me. Splash😅⛳️👍
Thanks Colin hope it works for you 👍
Why tf golf tutorial is in trending? WHO TF CARES ABOUT GOLF???
@@DeterminismisFreedom this is awesome, thanks for letting me know my video is trending 👌
@@DanielMaude You really answered to all of my comments?
@@DeterminismisFreedom I always like to answer those people willing to take time to comment
Thanks Benny appreciate you taking the time to respond 😁
Love this channel and only subscribed a couple months ago, Danny has helped me so much as a casual golfer and I am confident I'll break 100 very soon as I was hopeless at golf. But after implementing a lot of the techniques shown, my ball striking is way more consistent. Congrats on the 1milly!!
Well done Squidooosh 🙌
This is a FANTASTIC Video that so many Golfers need to see. Right arm failure is so common.
Glad you enjoyed it Joe
Thank you Mr. Danny M. You’re videos have elevated my game. I’m playing 18 at 6:30. 😊
Hope you have a great day
Easily the best tutorials and explanations on UA-cam. Very easy to understand. Other channels waffle on and on and half it doesn’t even make sense. But I can watch these and easily take in the info and remember what I need to do
I couldn’t even hit a driver properly and after watching one of your driver videos I was hitting my 3 wood off the tee 150-200 yds today, and going pretty straight most of the time consistently. Few mis-hits sometimes but I was miss hitting 9 out of 10 a month ago. Now it’s maybe 2-3 in 10
Just need to work on my irons now because I still struggle with clubs that aren’t a pitch/sand wedge, now I know why I’m struggling because you described the incorrect swing I am doing at the minute
Thank you, appreciate the feedback and support!
This 1 tip has given me a consistent draw, increased distance and beautiful ball flight! Thanks
Amazing Doc, well done
You tube is full of people like yourself that want to help beginners or amateurs play better golf. Your the first one that dummied it down visually so now I understand the problem of correcting my bad habits and mistakes. Keep up the great work and THANK YOU. 👍
Hi Danny, I've really been struggling with the concept of the back-swing but the bicep curl comparison along with the splashing motion for downswing has really helped me understand. Looking forward to trying this now...
Happy to help!
Great easy to follow instructions which helps simply things for me. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers. Still the best coach on you tube.
Thanks so much for the support Kevin
Another great teaching video to get important basics right! Thank you, Danny. Here's my tip to check out the curl: use a filled water bottle to get the feel for the move. Its weight helps a lot...
One million subscribers. Well done Danny. Clear, simple and effective advice.
Thank you Barry 🙏
This single exercise with the bicep curl gave me a frame of reference that I was missing, allowed me to visualize my backswing and add more consistency to my shots, accuracy and distance. Thank you Danny you are the Pete Cowen of our generation. Cheers from California
Thank you! Really appreciate the support and feedback 😁
Danny
That is brilliant.
Love to hear how you get on
Great video! This is by far my biggest challenge and you have given me some new thoughts that I hope will help me tackle it. Thanks!
Pleasure Patrick
Wonderful to hear
Thanks Danny, great video as always. I had my regular monthly lesson on Thursday and it was pretty much the same technique, with an additional drill of split hands on the grip. I found this much easier with the irons than the driver. Results were really good with the irons but work to do on the driver. That’s the beauty of golf though, you never stop learning 😎
Thanks David agreed! 👍👍
I appreciate that! Thanks Robin 👍
Thank you for this. I've adopted this since you pointed this out in another video last year and it really helps with consistency!
Congratulations on 1 million Danny, well deserved, you make all your instruction easy to understand with your comparisons to other everday things. Thanks, keep up the good work 👏👍
Thanks a million Paul 👍
CONGRATULATIONS FOR GETTING ONE MILLION SUBSCRIBERS.
WELL DESERVED.
ANOTHER VALUABLE & ORIGINAL VIDEO.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR GREAT ADVICE.
Thanks Alan 😁
Absolutely excellent feeling at address and in my backswing, made an overcomplicated subject for me to grasp extremely easy to comprehend thanks a million for this lesson kind sir!
You are very welcome
I love these really mechanical breakdowns of how and why things work in a golf swing, it is how I enjoy learning instead of just being told something is the right way with no explanation.
Really happy to help
Great tips off the tee as ever and emphasising the release pattern .. congrats on 1M subscribers .. you’ve done very well!
Thanks so much Ian! Really appreciate the support 😊
Congratulations on the Million DM....and another great golfing vlog. Something else to practice.....
Congratulations Danny. Well deserved for your dedication and consistency/
Much appreciated Robert
Awesome Danny . Best description of why my shots go to side because of the clubface being open . Have imagine throwing water at the end
Hope it helps 👌
Well done Danny! Another awesome lesson.
Really kind and thank you
Great Lesson. Wow- You are so right. I have been inconsistent in my swing and now I know exactly why. REALLY appreciate the LESSON
You are very welcome Michael
BEST setup lesson EVER!! I dropped 12 strokes just paying attention to the right arm. Thanks Danny!
110 to 98?
Just HAD to subscribe Danny, the right arm thing worked for me instantly. Started doing it on my practice swings on the course yesterday and it made a big difference to my striking . Distance, accuracy and consistency ....shot 9 over par ! I'm hooked
Well done Martin 🙌
Congratulations on 1 million. As a leftie who is right arm dominant I suspect it's my right arm which is doing all the work. A sort of back hand golf swing. I'm looking forward to trying what you suggest here. Thanks again Danny.
Hope you get on well Peter 👍
Peter… thank you for this comment! I’m a lefty that is right hand dominant, too. You helped me put this great lesson into perspective. 😊. And thank you, Danny. Your content is wonderful and greatly appreciated!
Hi Danny I tried this today for the first time and it really made a difference in giving me a solid more accurate strike with driver and irons. I hope it continues. Thank you😀
Well done Terry 🏌️♂️
Thanks Danny, you are my goto site for practical tuition. One thing i also try to maintain and i think you have mentioned it is a 90 degree relationship between left arm and shoulder rotation.
Absolutely 👍
The best instruction on line, love your enthusiasm and you have helped me so much Danny keep it up. 👏
Thanks Tom 😊
Shame about Edgebaston 😂
For the sake of so many fellow struggling golfers, please reinforce that splashing technique in your future videos. I can’t help thinking it’ll help far more golfers than myself. If I get to travel to England, I would like to seek you out and thank you personally. All the best, Dennis Evans
I've watched a lot of your videos and it has made a major impact on my game. Thank you for your simple to follow advice
Pleasure Rudy all the best
Congrats on a million! Best lessons on youtube by far. Well deserved
Thanks Ricardo 😁
The bicep curl motion added 15 yards to my pitching wedge shots. I am now hitting short par fours with the wedge instead of an eight iron. Thanks Danny.
Yet another great visual prompt to help perfect the swing. Tried it in the net and it works !!! Thanks as ever
Awesome to hear David
Another wonderful lesson Danny. 1m subscribers! Fully deserved and many congratulations.
Really kind Chip thank you

Thanks a million! 😁
Danny - first time long time. This might be your best video yet, so simple yet so effective.
Thank you Evan!
Congratulations on reaching 1M subscribers Danny. Wont be long until you clock up 2M... best golf coach on UA-cam bar none! Keep up the great work.
Thank you Phil!
Brilliant Jamie well done 🙌
Love that your kids are part of this demonstration in the pool!
Funny, I think they loved it too
Excellent demonstration and explanation Danny on the proper use of the right arm in the golf swing. I know the importance of the correct right arm position and its usefulness, but find that I am sometime negligent about accomplishing its goal. I like your "bicep" curl and "water splash" analogies. Something I will be thinking about next time. Well Done Danny! Your hard work is paying off with one million subscribers!
Thank you John 😁
From a fellow instructor this video is brilliant. Information not only on point but also very well presented 👍
Really appreciate the support Ryan, thank you
This dude knows how to explain stuff. Great analogy with the pool. I've heard it explained a bunch but that's the one for extension and not coming over the top. TYVM!
Really happy to help
That’s brilliant to hear, thanks for taking the time to share
Danny, this video has helped me make better contact with my iron shots. Thank you for the work you do and congrats on 1 million subscribers. It’s a testimony to your great work.
Thanks so much really appreciate it
One of the most important parts of the golf swing that isn’t talked about it enough.
Thanks Stantarquinio 😁
Congrats on a million Danny! Well deserved!
Thank you!
Thank you Vebes happy the video helped you 😁
Another above-average video this week, Danny. I applied some of your right arm suggestions to my weekend game and it was helpful - led to a few extra yards and some added precision.
Great to hear John well done
This was a great video on the placement of the right arm; congratulation on hitting 1 million subs. I think you and Rick are the only ones to hit that number for golf UA-camrs!
Thanks so ouch for the support
