Don’t be fooled this is NOT smaller than a GLC. I bought a 2020 GLC and then hand a second kid and my knees were crushed on the dash. We traded it and got a 2021 GLE and I love it. However during my regular service the dealership gave me a GLB and I really loved it and everyone fit. Recently our rental was a 7 seat GLB and we had it for 2 weeks. Comparing it to the GLC and the GLE it was way better than the GLC and i actually got 6 people in it 4 adults and 2 kids plus a stroller. Deffo recommend.
It does have brake hold. You just have to press brake pedal all the way down and HOLD will appear on the screen. Actually Mercedes was one of the first to implement this feature. It came to be in 2003 E class
Brakehold is available on the left next to the light adjustments. Also, if you press the brake hard enough after stopping, the car will hold the brakes.
@@SuperDudson I guess it depends if you are vertically challenged or not. I wouldn't want to spend any time in a 3rd row, especially if there were an rear end collision!!
I have a ‘22 GLB and the seats are not what you would expect from MB, the utility, turbo, ambient lighting touch controls make it a lifted station that is fun good looking and has some value for a MB if you can get a deal or one lightly used.
I miss the console touchpad that disappeared in the update. You used all 4 input methods for different tasks (steering wheel touchpad, voice, touchscreen, console touchpad).
First check before posting. Mercedes always had brake hold by pressing the brake pedal hard quickly when stopping. Hold appears in the cluster. How do you not know. It's the best way to incorporate this feature. There when you need and off when you don't. No need to press a button all the time.
@@jsundberg5542but if you want an explanation… just compare the price tags. Go for a test drive, too. The GLB is expensive because it’s a Mercedes. But when you get down to it, it isn’t that special. With the CX-30, or the CX-5, you’ll get a better car with more features and more reliability, at a better price.

I recently sold half my tech stock holdings due to all-time highs, leaving me with $400k. Should I invest in ETFs now or wait for a market correction considering potential inflation?
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
How do you be a car review channel and not know that it does have a brake hold? All Mercedes have a brake hold by pressing all the way down on the brake. Come on 😂
brakehold is always available by pressing hard on the brake after stopping
Yes it's available in all modern Mercedes. Any class
@@theonlyxemexactly! I don’t care for this review…I love my glb 24

1:00 Mike you're dwarfing this SUV 😂

brakehold is always available by pressing hard on the brake after stopping and the button next to the light adjustments is parking brake
Adaptive cruise control should be standard like it is in several brands
The German Luxury Brands usually nickel and dime you for everything so this follows suit.

Mike outside makes it look like a Matchbox... but inside he seems pretty comfortable... I'm sold
😂😂😂😂 man that is hilarious
In small SUV's with three row options, such as this one, I refer to the 3rd row as the "amputee" zone.
Because it's much easier to sit in a "wayback" without a third row than to sit in a third row?

Excellent review Mike!
I ❤ my GLB250

Brake hold can be activated by depressing the brake pedal harder once the car has stopped.
A Mike Danger review always makes a Monday THAT much BETTER 🙂🙃
Well thank ya!
I have this same exact car and if you stop and press the brake twice the auto brake will hold and to release just press the gas pedal.
i think the brake hold is the same as other Mercedes, just hit the brake paddle more deep, it will start on hold.
What's up Mike!
Buying is easier to say Mike :)
😂😂😂
I would go for a Mazda cx5 or cx50
Na.. they have poor infotainment
57 seconds in and this man made that GLB look like a smart car.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 come onnnn it’s not THAT bad!
do u have gla 250 video?????? liked ur video
Better off getting a cx-5 turbo.
Does it finally have a touchscreen? Mazda had a dial you were forced to use to the navigate the screen options.
why? elaborate??

@jsundberg5542 it's more reliable, and has a good quality, near luxury interior while being cheaper.
It has brake hold function!
While on the brakes, give it a gentle kick and you'll see the hold appear on your dash.

Nah, I don't. It's giving shrunken down GLS vibes.

Why 2024 model cost $5000 more than the 2023? It’s surely not worth that price increase.
These horizontal slat grilles look so cheap. Not even well integrated or any form of styling to attempt to make it look good
Lol literally nested this at the NO AUTO BRAKE HOLD! like WTF?? Its a very simple tech and even a 22k Hyundai has that. Fucking hell...
For the price range the Honda Passport Black is far superior and has more standard features.
But it's a Honda. In other words on the freeway at top speeds the Honda is going to get left in the dust by this Mercedes-Benz.
@@thewiseguy3529umm…check the specs. Not so sure.
@freecitizen7372 yes! And the Honda will be cheaper to maintain, and likely more reliable in the long run
