The GLB is such a unique SUV. Small but spacious. Boxy, yet svelte. More like a modern, fun, practical G-wagon, than anything. Will be on our short list for sure.

You guys actually SHOULD give awards for online configurators. They're so widely utilized by the public, and a good or bad one can sometimes make or break a sale.
It's called the GLB because it shares it's transverse platform with the "A" cars (and the B-class which we don't get in Canada anymore). The GLC is in fact slightly larger in every major exterior dimension. And while it's not really fair to call it a baby G-Wagen, it does resemble a mini GLS.

Let me tell y’all, my mom got this car pretty much optioned the same way in the video except for it being black and no roof rack. It was not 42, it was 53k. And we’re in the states, specifically California
I don't really get the AMG-line looks on this, I feel the more rugged styling and more substantial wheels suit this much better than these spindly thin spoke AMG-line wheels and the foglamps suit it more than the fake ventery in the front too.
Seriously considered this at one point, it does feel very peppy and fun to drive. But for a premium mini SUV it’s 10 grand more than a Mini Countryman and it’s not 10 grand better. It’s also a Mercedes built in Mexico in a Nissan factory, so lease only.
I kind of like it! Reminds me of the Volvo XC40. I could definitely do without the 3rd row of seats though. Not a huge Benz/SUV guy but I feel like they did a good job on this.
Australian dollar is the same as Canadian dollar and yet the GLB 200 starts at $65,800 here. There is also the GLB250 4 matic starts at $80,000 and the AMB GLB 35 4 matic starts at $95,500.
If I ordered a new G I’ll be at my local Mercedes dealer today it would take six months to get it built and into the dealer because they’re in such high demand also if you’re wondering the E class would only take two months (ireland)

Looking at the lengths of the GLB and GLC, they seem to both be about 183". The GLB is part of the A class of vehicles and rides on the same platform as the GLA, A, & CLA. So it would never be labeled higher than the C class of vehicles even if it may be slightly longer. And there is a GLB45(over 400hp), but I don't think NA is getting them, just the 35.
"For me" it's a nope nope nope. Sante Fe, Sorrento, RDX, CRV (RAV4 front door handles are STUPID huge) are better choices in my book. It's at least 11K more than these other vehicles. You could have a kitted out Telluride for less with a ton more room and at least equal features save for the IMAX (which looks really cool) on the dash. It's a no thanks for me. Keep the reviews coming guys. We look forward to Tuesdays and Fridays to see what you've gotten into.

All roof racks howl. I fix that by tightly wrapping 550 paracord around the bars across its full width. Space each wrap about 1in apart.

Genesis is the king of car configurator's. 3D inside and out.
The 3gen RAV4 had a factory roof rack that whistled if the bards were installed backwards. They had an aerodynamic cross-section for fuel economy.

The glb is the replacement for the glk. The car is cute but it’s better off without the 3rd row.
My only comment on this otherwise awesome review is that 2020 models started from $43,500 CAD. 2021 starts at $46,500 CAD.
