I was thinking on upgrading the doors with the new led strip, I have the full interior lights as an extra, I think is just buying the new pieces and connecting them, I wish there’s a video tutorial
Great video, do you know if it’s possible to install the secret compartment behind the dashboard on LCI 2? Because I bought the new mini jcw LCI II and I don’t know if it possible to install/ with some modification the secret compartment?
Hi Ethan, how did you get the intensity of the light to be so high? On my LCI2 2022 it is much weaker even the brightnes is on max. Also I don't have all the colors you have, I don't have purple. Do you know how to get all the colors?
Good question! I don’t actually do anything! I did have to change my led modules on the panels themselves to work with the older car so the led electric system is different on the lci2 cars. I guess the older cars had brighter LEDs and included purple I also think that the lci2 cars include a teal colour that I don’t have? Maybe?
@@carcreationsyt Yes, it is possible that something is different with the voltage, so they are brighter! I think I have that color, not sure. In the meantime, I found out that colors can be changed by coding, any existing color can be replaced or changed to a new one, which is great. I believe that if, for example, a darker purple is coded, it will be projected more strongly, so the effect of a stronger light can be created in that way.
I consider you a super “mini” expert and I love your videos… how is the latest mini for it’s motor? I will change my car soon ( Suzuki swift 2006)… didn’t have enough money to buy the mini then…🤣🤣🤣 I love the mini but worried about motor problems ecc… I don’t drive very much around 5000km a year! 🤣🤣🤣 Great job!!!
@@carcreationsyt thanks Ethan, I’ve chatted with the guys in the Netherlands and they can ship all the parts and wire harness to me in the uk 😊 I’m just scared about putting big holes in the dash for it all to fit 😧
Hi bud. Great video as usual. Car’s certainty looking good. Can those panels be removed without taking out the infotainment system, or is it easier with it out?
Hey! Thanks for watching! While you can add it without getting the new screen, it does not match up exactly so you would normally replace the screen anyway. However to answer your question, there are screws behind the screen for the trim so you would have to move them
Yes! Although you need to already have an 8.8” screen, then you will need the back plate or frame from a lci2 screen to swap into your system in order for it to fit perfectly. Or you can just trim your current unit a little bit and it should look fine
great work! I have a challenge for you. Will the passenger (speedo) display work with the ambient lighting
Thank you! Hmm, I think you would have to remove the trim around the old one, then cut a hole in this one, then glue it in. Probably would work
Where you order the parts? I haven’t found. Motoring? Sorry for the dump question. And thank you for quick reply from CH 🇨🇭
Hello, I got them from EA car works on insta. However if you want I can help you procure them. Just send me a dm on instagram or an email.

I have a yt video on this channel where I do that!

Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I dont believe it would be possible, at least without a lot of custom modification.
I wish I had your ability!!! Oh my God!!!!
Thank you!!! Definitely would encourage anyone to try it for themselves though!
Hey man, love the vids, have you thought about retrofitting the Harmon Kardon sound system. I’d like to see that vid
Thanks so much for watching! Yeah I have thought about it! I have not done a ton of research but its on my list!
Hi, The best choice is install Audison System with their amp, better than HK, just get the HK A pillars for audison tweeters :)

Fair enough! 😆
I would say try to get an f series! Those motors are bulletproof!
If not, go for a late r series.
is it possible to buy such a radio ring for the mini f54?
9:03
Unfortunately the one with the lines will only work on the f56,55,57 models.
Hello Ethan, great video. where is the power supply? thanks, James
If you mean the fuse box, it’s behind the glove box really high up the passenger foot well
@@carcreationsyt so it piggybacks a fuse for power source?
Sorry, maybe I didn’t show it clearly in the video.
4 wires 3 send data to the led modules and 1 is ground.

@@carcreationsyt why didn’t your air vents light up? Or aren’t they supposed to?

Cheers for that. I have the LCI2 mini with the new dashboard’s, but thinking of maybe wrapping them at some stage, hence the question.
@@Akanaten Makes sense! Yeah you would have to remove the screen for that
Is it possible to keep the 2015 navigation system and only change the interior to 2023?

My f56 is right hand drive, is there a harness for right hand drive?
Hi! I am a bit confused! If you do the opposite (from lci 2 to previous version) do they fit or you have to trim the dashboard again?
If you go opposite, I dont think you would have to tim the dashboard. However I am not sure 100%
Do you have the partnumbers? I’m in The Netherlands and want to order them here 😬
The wire harness is custom made by eacarworks so if you want that too you will have to go to him. He is in NL too though so you should be good.
What wires exactly?
hi, is it possible to remove the dashboard covers without removing the screen in the middle? I have a mini lci2 and want to swap it
Thx guys
Absolutely. The covers snap right off
@@carcreationsyt the air duct is no Problem? So i can Clip it of without any Demontage?
@@Swengiorno yes, the vents stay in place. If you watch my android auto video, I show myself removing the panels.
That's what I thought, then it's a good thing that it's so easy 😬👍🏻 Thank you for your help!
