Used to live in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and spent a fair amount of time in BC, especially Nelson and Salmo Pass. Miss it out there, NY now.

Lots of fun things in there. On our F60, I changed the mirror tilt, turned on the door lights when I put the car in reverse, and turned off the start up warning.
Ohh startup warning, thats a good one. Ill have to code that in.
Also you can get rid of the annoying message on the screen when using the reverse camera!
What obd should I get ? I got a f60 countryman 2017 and I'm tired of that backup camera warning
It was worth it just to turn of the start/stop system.
Actually, very good point. That feature is so annoying and glad it could be turned off.
@@carcreationsyt I did with my current BMW and in 3 weeks i will get my clubman, it will be the first thing i do.
So useless and annoying, but BMW will tell you it's not possible to turn off.
@@ekimandersom4478 Congrats on the Clubman!! Yeah, I asked when I got my JCW and they said no...
I have a switch that turns it off. Never came back on.
The R60 works well with Bimmer code too.

@@samuelaandrus6280 I've been able to activate many functions that are super cool, like keyfob window and sunroof close. DTR fogs only, etc.
@Ted D thank you for your reply. My son has a 2012 R60 D in the UK and I notice his recirculation for AC does not have to be turned on everytime he starts ac. Where as I do in mine. I have changed all marker lights to LED and now get codes. I see that I should be able to fix this with this. My next question is which OBD do I get as there are many listed with a Wide range price difference. With everything you get what you pay for so I don't want to go cheap but I live on a fixed income so can't afford to over spend. Thanks again!

I have mini cooper 2016 and i change the halogen headlight and fog light bulb with led yesterday but it gave me light beam and fog light malfunction ? What i can do to remove this alert?
Thank you! You just have to go in and select led as the light and it should fix it for you.
Anybody knows how to change settings and use the center LCD to play movies / videoclips?

Yes you can! You may be able to in the easy section, but if not, check one of the forums for the code
Hi it is possible with Bimmercode set of cold and warm monitoring of led light replace? I can’t find in my Bimmercode menu
I think it may be possible, but it might be in the advanced menu. Your best bet will probably to ask on the F56 forms to see what code you need to change.

Great video ! I bought Bimmer Code but I have the impression that concerning the ASD it is extremely limited? BMW ASDs not working? Do you also know if we can raise the height of the HUD even more? Keep it up !!!
Thank you! I have played around with Active Sound Design on the clubman in one of my videos, while I could change things, I am not sure how big of a difference it made. I need a little more time with it I think. Not sure about the HUD! I dont have it in my cars so cant test it. If you figure it out, let me know!
@@carcreationsyt Thank you for your feedback, I tried to add some things to the HUD but nothing helps. For the ASD, not all BMWs work and overall there is not a big difference. It's hard to navigate all the expert menus, nothing is very well explained ...

hi. Is it possible to encode splash lights for position 0? I have no auto position. Position 0 works as auto in my car. Thnx
I am not aware of how to do this with BimmerCode although it may be part of expert mode that I don’t know of
I have an R60 and have switched my taillights from read CDM to amber EDM with rear fog light. Does BimmerCode allow to program the rear fog light in?
While I have not done it myself, I believe it has that functionality. If not in the normal mode, definitely in the advanced mode.

Hi! I’m going to code Apple Carplay in my F60 Countryman soon. I’m basically paying someone to code it. My question is i’d like to use Bimmercode to add some more features after that. Is using bimmercode going to remove apple carplay back again? Or have any issues? Lmk if you know the answers ! Thank u !
I used Bimmercode after I had upgrades in my car so you should be good! Either way, bimmercode makes backups, so worst case, you can restore it.
Man, i remember having to hack into my BMW e46 with a laptop and a hacked program to do this kind of thing.

If my f56 doesn't have paddle shifters and I retrofit a JCW steering wheel, can beemer code activate the paddle shifters?
Thanks for watching! All you need is quick shifting activated, but most cars already have this. If not, I believe it can be done in bimmercode, but we did it with Esys.

Can you use this bimmer app and adapter to fix the codes from installing the digital cluster?
Unfortunately you need Esys for that and really be comfortable with the program.

Hi I see when I downloaded the app, that it has a lot of adapters to purchase. Do you know which is the best adapters for the mini hatchback 3rd gen?
The best adapter we found was this one. It worked for both 3rd gen MINIs and my brothers BMW.

@@diegochiu3683 The nice thing about carly is the fact you only have to buy a months subscription when you get the app. Check out my video on Carly if your interested in what that can do. The decision really comes down to whether you prefer a subscription for the carly app or buy the bimmercode app outright
Has you or anyone found the code section/map to change the oil maintenance interval? I have been looking for this for a while now as i want to change it to something more reasonable. 5-6,000 miles interval (8,000km)? oh i have F55 '18. lol

I may be wrong but I don’t think you can check with BimmerCode or BimmerLink.
You can with Carly though I believe. I think we briefly show it in our Carly video.
Carly can go in and compare the mileage to make sure there isn’t any discrepancies.

I believe you can, take a look at minif56.com/ there's probably someone on there who has done it.
@@carcreationsyt Yeah I have just ordered the OBD2 Thing and Bimmer Code App.
You can set it to automatically startup in sports mode in BimmerCode. I would see if you can turn that on. If that doesn’t work, it may need some deeper coding or maybe even a module

i can access almost every settings of my mini f57 jcw 2016 with bimmercode, but the head unit section is impossible to read... 😢do you know why? what can i do to access the head unit section?
That is really odd! What head unit do you have? Is it the small orange screen?

My sons friend has a BMW and the app/connector, Does the app allow use on BMW and Mini once it's paid for? I'm wondering if I can cheekily use his for free 🤷🏼♀️ or will I have to pay again to the app to use the Mini settings?
Hello! Thanks for your question. As long as you don’t do anything that will interfere with the engine, you are all good.
The adapter for a bmw and app will work for your car, and you won’t need to buy it again! I used the same app for both our bmw and mini.

If your car has an active bulb there, I believe there may be a way to activate it with BimmerCode

Hi, i upgrade some things with bimmer but now the volume of my stereo is really low. Did you experience something like that?
Oh interesting... No we didn't. Are you using Aux, Bluetooth, or the iPhone cable? It may be a situation where the volume on the phone itself needs to be turned up. That happened to me a few weeks ago and I was puzzled for a bit lol.
@@carcreationsyt no. Is also the radio (without connecting the phone). I was playing with motor volume. Also my rear camera sound is not working

Please make a new edit and call it Bimmercode. Beemer is for a motorcycle, Bimmer is a car. The app is Bimmercode, not Beemercode. 🤦🏻

It wasn’t for the video, we had to do it anyway. We live on a farm and it was in the pasture so have to clear it out. We also use the wood for fence rails.
