Thank you Adam I just bought one. I have a orange bucket. I’m really hoping it fits. Other people said some of them don’t work when they’re newer but thank you so much.

Gday Adam, I’ve never seen this type before, it’s a great idea, have you thought about putting it on a trolley with wheels?....

I keep it light and the power head really is super light so it’s super easy to carry just with the bucket handle

Does it suck up water good enough ? Plan on using it to take out water from toilet.

Is it safe to use an extension cord with this?

If it’s rated for the draw of the motor, I use one with mine but all my cords are 12 awg I believe and none are super long

It'd be cool for collecting individual materials, like all saw dust in it's own bucket, or a bucket for just metal chips, etc.

I keep one for steel chips and one for aluminum and one for general purpose cleaning

The older shop vac tops fit 5gal buckets. The newer ones will not.

I did not know that, but thinking about some of the older ones I had they were smaller on the power head then my newer ridged one

Yes they are, I don’t know why but I keep one for steel and one for aluminum like I’ll ever do anything with the chips but you never know
