Just bought this and sanded down a cabinet and hutch. This cleaned the mess up so well. I didn’t get it for $10. Paid $30, but compared to all the other prices I was looking at, this worked for me. This made my cleanup easy and then it was easy to clean.
Shout out to you... Thank you for this video. I have been searching reviews and demos for a small Wet\Dry Vac and you seem to be the only poster showing a demo of the wet pickup. Thanks again and on my way to get one of these after work. Also, you're awesome for answering other's questions. This is a good example of how to help others using the tools of media. 😉👍
+1 on this comment. I can't believe how many other video reviews failed to even acknowledge the wet vac capabilities. Like they've never left a car window open and had it rain inside? Well done. 👌
Bought one today at Wal-Mart for $26, last one on the shelf, two days before Xmas. Then stopped at Harbor Freight and bought a little bit bigger one with one more hp. Wanted to test both and decide which was the keeper. The one you reviewed worked great with the crevice tool, just like your video showed. Great suction. But the wide mouth attachment had bristles which kept it half an inch above the floor. When i held my hand up to it i could barel feel suction, had to put my fingers in the tube to feel it. But i'll be darned, i could not remember how it came out of the box and i could not figure out how to get everything back into the box. A youtube video search got me to your unboxing, thank you! The Harbor Freight vacuum was $35 with a coupon. The wide mouth nozzle lays flat on a surface, no bristles, and had much better suction. It was worth the extra $10 to me. But as your video shows, it does wotk great with the crevice attachment. Thanks!
Your most welcome and thank you for sharing and thank you for mentioning an alternative just in case someone would like to check the harbor freight vac.👍👍
@@jimmyolsenbluesSorry for your loss Don’t worry brother I had to watch UA-cam videos on how to properly shave. Just paying it forward Glad the video was helpful God bless.
2 years later, and thanks for the demo! I was so confused for some reason if I was supposed to leave the blue thing on when using it or not for dry applications. While you didn’t directly answer the question, u saw that you had it on haha, so that answers my question!
I bought the 3 gallon one for my first shop vac to use mostly as a wet vac. Never actually had to set one up and this video was very helpful as well as the comments section. Thank You
Just bought this for my small backyard workshop and to have something small and convenient to hook up to the dust discharge on my handheld belt sander it does a great job for about anything I need it to
I like that you actually used it on real world mess. I'm usually pretty snobby about shop vacs but I left my expensive Rigid w/ the detail kit during a move, so this looks like it'll hold me over until I get that out here.
Thank you!! My dishwasher overflowed while I was cleaning it so I finally had a reason to use this thing after like 4 years of having it. Only thing is while sucking up the water it won’t vacuum non stop, I have to keep cutting it on and off every 3 seconds. I took the blue filter off and everything. Idk what’s happening…
@@MyMyTyTy Your most welcome, I would check just to make sure that nothing is clogged ,and see if the ball is somehow in the way while your using the vac. Hope this helps.
Thanks. Great to the point video.. it appears to work well. Guessing best to use as noted - while holding the vac with one hand and the 4’ hose end with the other. Was considering attaching to a vest and making it a backpack unit..
Bought it after watching your video inside Walmart. Went in for a hard held battery Shark or Black and Decker but didn't like reviews 10 minutes battery etc.
You sure can I just bought this unit for $10 at my local Walmart. My car had a leaking heater core I needed a wet vac to help aid in the cleanup process. I figured for the price if it broke I'd just throw it in the trash when I was done. But this little bugger still works great! Just wish the cord was a bit longer
The cord is not very long and what I want to use it for wont reach the wall outlet. Can I use an extension cord or can I plug it into a power strip. Thank you. Hope I can get an anwer soon so I can start using it.
I have had other shop vacs that the foam was under the other filter. The 16 pages of instruction don’t specify if used together or not. Only says use Foam only when wet vacuuming. What do you think?
I just use the cloth filter for dry stuff then use the foam for wet situations. I’ve been doing it this way for awhile now and have not had any issues.
@@Autofusionchannel wow, I got an answer Thank you. Guess I’ll take off the foam and it will get lost in the garage. I use this mainly to blow off covered front porch & back patio. The car gets a vacuum from time to time. Threw other away since it died, am kicking myself cause this has no extension tubes to make the hose longer. Seriously when will anything ever go right? So are the tube’s obtainable & where to purchase please? This is the smallest size of vac I’ve ever had and love it. Just blew off front porch, easy to hold canister, lots of bending to get behind furniture though.
@@gracie2298 your most welcome, the hose is a 1.25 diameter you might want to check out lows or amazon and see if they have a attachments or longer hose that might fit. Hope this helps and hope things start going right for you 👍👍
@@Autofusionchannel Well life just got got a wee bit better. Found & ordered on eBay. See you a smart man, gave me the dimensions. I subbed as a thank you and will watch as time permits.
I’m going to take a guess at this but it sounds like airflow restriction. Make sure there is not a blockage in the hose, attachment or exhaust.Hope this helps.
I would recommend a lilly brush they can be purchased on Amazon then vacuum . With any vacuum it can be difficult to pick up pet hair. Hope this helps.
@@Autofusionchannel I did it thank you. This is a nice vacuum I just vacuumed my whole apartment it's quiet it's it's got great suction it is a nice vacuum!! I put the bag in it and it's got the filters in it. Thank goodness nothing blows out the side. I recommend this to women if you're looking for something very light and great suction
Hey do you have to leave the blue cloth part on? I don’t get that part . Did it go all the way over as far as it could over the middle part under the lid or just over half the cut out holes? Mine works but makes a crazy loud noise don’t get me wrong didn’t kno if I had it up too high like suffocating it or what
If you’re doing regular vacuuming yes keep the blue cloth on, if your using the vac to pick up liquids take off the blue bag and use the foam one. Hope this helps

Glad you replied so I could correct myself. The bristles can detach so you can use that nozzle with or without them.

For this vac just remove the cloth filter and put the foam filter on ,and start vacuuming the wet carpet.

Yeah I wish the handheld lasted longer but they don’t for some reason makes me wonder if they test their products.
Can I use it for the wet vacuuming without the sponge sleeve?
You probably could but honestly I would not recommend it because I believe it keeps debris from getting the inlet clogged.

Does yours blow out at the same time as you use it for suction?
Yes it does in the back it’s the exhaust
Hey brother I don't have any strong suction. I didn't drop it. But I have forget to put the little bag on when vacuuming back of dryer
Try to see if it’s clogged, that can happen when you don’t put the filter in when using the vacuum.

Do you have to let this dry out before you put it back together
Yes , wouldn’t want the vacuum to start smelling 🤢
Where to get replacement bags
You can get universal 1.5 replacement vacuum bags on amazon.
Does the motor come off for cleaning??
The top part of the unit comes off but that’s to empty the canister .

Just put the hose in the back exhaust insert now you got a mini blower.
Idk why but mine is spitting out water through the back. I checked the filter no holes everything seems fine 🤷♀️
Does it spit water while using it and or when tank is full?
