You guys didn't cover that part where all the Pakistani officers who helped Major Kalkat escape, were killed as punishment. Col.Ajay Raina mentioned this in the Reality of Kashmir merger with India video where Major Kalkat was mentioned for a very short amount of time.
It was Pakistan army interest not of British interest to invade Jammu Kashmir ladakh state in war 1947 Between pakistani kabalies and regular Army of Afganistan
Hindu people's of ladakh Kargil Jammu Kashmir traveled in 1947 War From Gilgit Scardu Rawalpindi Lahore towards Waga Boder Holly city Amritsar From Amritsar people's traveled to ladakh Jammu Kashmir and reached their Respective Homes in their own villages in Jammu Kashmir ladakh state it is for your infomation
