How to take care of dragon fruit seedlings / dragon fruit tree care

How to take care of dragon fruit seedlings. We can care of dragon tree in home with simple method. Instead of cuttings we can plant dragon fruit using seeds from online store or buy fresh dragon fruit and sow the seeds. It easy and simple but need a little bit of care of seedlings to growing properly. Tips for growing dragon fruit from seeds is try your best to choose fresh and new seed for high success germination.
Here 8 item how to take care of dragon fruit seedlings that must you know about:
1. Cure the seeds
Especially seeds that buy from online store must be soak overnight with hydrogen peroxide for high rate of germination.
2. Sowing the seeds - Use high quality of potting mix. Drainage soil, light and rich of nutrient.
3. Sunlight - Keep the seedling in semi-shade for couple of months before put under the sun. This avoid the seedlings dry.
4. Seedlings transplant - Transplant seedling when it has strong roots. Use loose soil for planting dragon fruit seedlings.
5. Watering - Dragon fruit tree moist soil to mimic their subtropical environment and should be given about an inch (2.5 cm.) of water per week.
6. Weeds control - Create a weed-free zone around your seedlings. Remove weeds to avoid it compete foods with seedlings of dragon fruit. Weed also compete for sunlight and water as well.
7. Fertilization - fertilize your seedlings with compost to booster growth. You can also use seaweed liquid fertilizer for it.
8. Support - Dragon fruit tree is climbing cactus so it need trellis to support them from hang down.

Why does yellow polara big seed take longer to sprout 🌱 ? Red white flesh & yellow small seeds takes less about 6 to 12 days , yellow big seeds takes 2-4 weeks.

What do you do with the small shoots that grow on the base of the main stem? Should you remove those or leave them? Can you make another plant from them ?

My dragon fruit seeds, no lie took months to go from my fruit I bought at the store to a plant the size you have here about a half inch( where you put the tiny trellis up for it) but you can see a tiny cactus in yours , mine has nothing! Just the two leaves. Am I needing to give it something? Fertilizer? Food? Not sure. If you or any one can help I’d appreciate it. Ty
