This lawyer is not very good. He made too many mistakes in his case to prove anything with a preponderance of evidence. You can imply whatever you want but that is not enough to throw out a multi-million dollar case. He was sloppy, way too sloppy to win.

The judge was appointed by gov kemp (who hates Trump), the judge also used to work for Fani Willis as well. The judge has a conflict of interest and Fani has multiple conflicts of interest. Fani also broke the law. Kemp, the judge, Fani and Nathan wade are ALL corrupt as can be. They have broken laws, violated the constitution, have conflicts of interest. I am a disinterested party in this, and therefore I obviously have no skin in the game. And I would definitely say the evidence of impropriety against Wade and Willis is absolutely overwhelming. Their lies were so obvious and their dismissive and brash behavior when questioned was outrageous. It was as if they thought the whole world was stupid. It was downright insulting. The appearance of impropriety is so significant that they should be removed from the case and disbarred, and the case should be dismissed. But what is worse? I don’t understand this judge asking the defense if he should he kick the DA Fanni Willis off every case if she has lied that is brought before the court. Every lawyer knows if a cop commits perjury they get put on a list and DA’s won’t prosecute their cases which in turn means the cop no longer has a job. A DA is no different than a cop that commits perjury and shows prejudice.
And if Fanny lied in this case what's to say she didn't lie in other cases? All of her cases need to be reviewed.

I don't get how Willis and Wade having a relationship (whether before or after he joined the prosecution team) has any negative effect on the defendants. Willis already has 4 guilty pleas to show that this is a real case. If you're looking for conflict of interest it's Judge Cannon who was appointed by the very defendant she's set to judge. Or how about Clarence Thomas whose wife is implicated in a case Thomas has just helped to delay... and could potentially cancel altogether.

All i want to hear about judges is that they are being FAIR, not that they are good for one side or the other. I havent seen much of this in the lower courts. They seem obviously biased. This is so disappointing.

He also asked what is the limiting principle, in other words if Willis lied under oath does that mean she is disqualified from all her cases? He asked it as if there was any other answer than YES! A DA w/ the power of the state lying under oath should be something so rare and impossible that even the most jaded gasp. Instead we get, “well, if she lied can she prosecute little people who aren’t former presidents w/ lots of money?”
I love to see Judge Judy deal with this mess.
Though I completely agree this judge is biased toward Fani amd Wade, he also knows this unique case and its impact, not just on Fani versus Trump, but ongoing will become precedent for other cases. That is why for the record he is making the attorney explain his legal knowledge in his closing statements. But again, he is not coming off as a judge with strong lines on our Constitution. Which is concerning no matter the verdict.
A real judge would be outraged and chomping at the bit to remove this DA from having power over any civilians.

It's very clear there are legitimate concerns about her truthfulness and based on that she needs to be removed. This judge is just not wanting to accept what he knows is true to let her off the hook. The case goes forward, just not with hher prosecuting. If he finds she can stay on the case you know the judicial system is corrupted.

There are assistant attorneys who can handle the prosecution of cases going forward.

A Superior Court Judge in my state had sexual harassment charges filed against him. I'm going back about 25 years. Case wasn't going his way, He may have been ordered to pay restitution, but he was removed from hearing any sexual cases of any kind and still allowed to preside as a Judge.
