Didn’t expect the pivot to covering Warhgammer, but I still enjoying the cursory look for now!

Here's what I think: The Adepta Sororitas need and deserve cathedral tanks, mausoleum/chapel drop pods, and an upgrade sprue with stuff like a multipelta + backpack + arms, to make up for teh stupid gap in teh Battle Sisters Squad box.
Celestians are gone, just update the sisters sprue to get rid of the extra helmets and second simulacrum.
There is zero reason to have the extra box on a stick. We don't need fluffy pieces when actual wargear is missing. Get rid of it and give us full weapons options.

An extra note on the command squad - if you have enough extra bits, it can be a great unit of Iron Warriors Chosens!
Here’s me hoping they actually are fair with gsc points. If they price our points poorly the faction will be all but dead for months until our troops get a deserved drop in points. We can’t just use other units when our staples now suck, we don’t have any other options! (Except characters which barely matter if our core troops are bad.)
All codex after the initial points adjustments end up around the initial index cost. You can expect that more or less.

My WH store posted that the AoS box will go up for pre-order on June 29 and then be released on July 13.
They also posted in the news feed last week... Surprised auspex missed it. Guess it isn't 40k

My first army this addition was Admech which i was sad to learn do no damage, now i have gotten into GSC but the damage has been nerfed too...

Just finding an unsculpted banner to paint your own logo on is going to be a nice reason to get that command squad! Don't forget The Old Word too. I'm thinking about that and they might have Dwarfs soon.
Can't wait for that Morvenn Wahl book to sell out in 2,3 seconds.
The Legions Imperialis game is honestly looking really tight right about now and with that new box being basically "Start your army here" I might look into the rules behind EC, KSons, or World Eaters and see if any of them tickle my fancy. If not, there is always the Raven Guard.
Could also use the Command Squad for Chosen with Accursed weapons.

Anybody else impatiently waiting for them to update the Chaos Bikers models? I get there's probably a lot more older models that need updating but the chaos bikers are easily like top four units to put in CSM right now

The Iron Warriors color scheme on the command squad got me super excited! Are these my new Chosen Squad? Do I now play Horus Heresy? Do I just paint then because they were marketed to me as a collector (finally)?
I will wait with ordering your minis when there will be more of them, or maybe a bundle

Are the heresy era minis scaled up to modern 40k sizes? It occurs to me that I've never actually seen one close up.
The heresy minis are close to scale with chaos space marine. There are still a head shorter than the new space marine though not by much.
@@karl2870 More like a halfhead (at least mk3), and with some sand texture on base there is basicaly no difference in height visually.

Fingers crossed that they show off a new Codex Roadmap on the 19th, and that it includes Drukhari, World Eaters and Votann, which I think are the three armies that need new releases the most.
I think Drukhari might be close, their combat patrol seems to be running low on supply.
Doubtful they'd do all three in short order as they will need production time to bang out how much work those ranges need. There's also a rumored "second half" to the Eldar refresh. Probably those four are spread out over the next 12 months.
World eaters and Vottan for sure but why Drukhari they seem alright atm
@@wolfgangstallionmusic5639 drukhari is already a small range but have a few datasheets that just dont have models. Court of the Archon, Grotesques ,Beastmaster ,Urien Rakarth ,and Mandrakes do not have models for sale (i know mandrakes have new models but cant buy them yet). So out of 25 datasheets 5 of them have no model you can buy making a fifth of the range unplayable unless you recast, 3d print, or get extorted off ebay.
@@wolfgangstallionmusic5639 It is partially wishful thinking on my part, but Drukhari currently have four units that are in the index and are not actually sold by GW anymore, not even on an "inform me when they come back in stock" basis. They are not even listed on the web store. That is 16.6% of the entire army that has only 24 different datasheets. For comparison, Votann now has 13 Datasheets and World Eaters has 23 (with units they can borrow from regular CSM).
Also there is the notable absence of a big center-piece character model, namely one Asdrubael Vect.
Is horus heresy like any action figure toy line now?
I mean if you dont buy the newest online only release in fomo day one , theyre gonna be out of stock forever like any toy company does , i mean the traitor champion consul have been out of stock since day one for like 9 months now and the same thing is happening with other models like the mkv mkvi apothecary set , its out of stock since day one
Basically, we don't get them discounted but they are requested a lot so we look. They're never in stock, pretty sure they are one shots but no confirmation on that.

That command squad would work well with the space marine army I'm planning. The remnants of the traitor legions that didn't fall to chaos and survived the Crusade. Planning on using all Horus Heresy stuff to proxy similar 40k units.

The Mk III and Mk VI are significantly smaller than the Bladeguards and I find their weapons and shields less impressive. That's a shame :/

Cool, our first IH model in years and its a dude with a bland, fully flesh head...oh AND its resin....
All of the unique units will be in resin. It's been said multiple times. You can't be surprised at this point.
I got the endryd haar model and it is absolutely fine.
Generally speaking Forge World resin is a higher grade product than the Citadel Finecast you see get lambasted.

@@TheAtomicSpoon I have a forgeworld model, i know their resin is "better", but tis still vastly inferior to a plastic sprue, thats undeniable. Plus my bigger issue is that the dude doesnt look very iron handsy

You’ll get one, at some point. Hopefully they chill on marine codexes for a bit and focus down full armies first, but you will get one
