Blimey..I was NOT expecting to see THIS game on a speedrun channel. Zuma is one of my all-time favourite childhood games back when I played it on Zylom and when Zuma Blitz was on FaceBook (R.I.P) This made my day a little bit brighter. ZUMA!!
Props to the developers for making such a streamlined and polished game. Considering this is TAS you would expect exploits. But no, it’s just solid gameplay. Also those loading times are almost nonexistent.
I finally did it, I've watched every non obsoleted TAS on the tasvideos site... took over a decade to do (started in 2013) with all the new ones getting added but it's done...
Zuma, one of Pop Cap's good games and part of my gaming childhood (The OG, PC Version not the DS). I played this before on my grandma's computer , never knew it had a ds game.
This reminded me, I had a handheld console back in 2007/2008 that had a game just like this one. I've been looking everywhere on the Internet to find it but I can't remember its name. A small red console that worked with batteries with like 50 games on it natively. One of my earliest gaming experience...
its crazy to think that with game playing ai stuff like this is gonna become more common, stuff like this for every game, in every way, the entire library of stuff like this will multiply by the hundreds! though i guess those would be considered more "bot runs" and not "tas runs" even though theyd be basically the same
I just love how the frog casually yeets itself out after every level finish lol
my people need me

I had no idea this had a DS game. I adore the PC game and have spent numerous hours on it. Awesome TAS.
This is one of the most gratifying TAS's I've ever seen
100,000%! I was exceptionally gratified to watch those balls f the f off, level after level.

When you slow the video down to 0.25, you can appreciate the brilliant logic of the shots.
Don't tempt me. I WILL watch this video multiple times at all the speeds.

This TAS uses DeSmeMu which has much faster load times rather than actual hardware.
@@stigmaoftherose in fairness it's using the latest, finally released after 7 years; DeSmuME 0.9.13, which actually has improvements to the loading.
i play that on xbox 360
The fact that every level uses the same jingle, but randomly pitched higher or lower, sends me.
I feel like this is a series everyone knows but nobody talks about
MY CHILDHOOD MEMORY HAS BEEN RESTORE

Great fanfare music and sound effects!
My 2AM brain randomly wanted to be pleased with TAS run

This is what 7 year old me felt like when I aced a level for the first time.
I played this game in PC and almost finished the game, my old Sister almost finished 100% the game too. Goods and Olds Times !
I was litterally playing Zuma deluxe when I saw this video on my feed, you know what we need now :) (hint, it may be the original game on pc :D )

Perhaps it was Puzz Loop?
Or Puzz Loop 2
Turned my play speed down to actually see what's going on
So the color order isn’t random every playground?
This is awesome!!! How do you make these TAS videos?
There is a tutorial series on the channel on how to make one.
Какая причудливая зума!
