Fear , Sex is genuinely one of the best and memorable track on the album fantano tf ?
I'm sitting here and I don't even remember what it sounds like 🤷♂️
Fear, sex was better placed within the Death&Romance music video
This one was a grower for me. When I first heard Image initially I was like "oh great, synthpop but it's weirdcore, sure" but then I kept coming back. And back. And back. Then I listened to the whole album and I was like "sure, love the singles" but then I kept listening to the other songs as well, and humming Tunnel Vision on repeat. I can't stop. *I get it now.*
Mica's white make up with the blue eyes always reminds me of Watcher of the Skies Peter Gabriel.
I think she looks like Empire of the Sun.
This genre is far from my favorite genre of music, but this album is one of the best albums I’ve ever listened to in my life. It’s so powerful, danceable, and emotional. It makes me feel the passion of the existence of the universe of music. It makes me want to smile, cry, and embrace love comfortably
exactly how i feel. this really isn’t my thing, but this is really my thing
@@lukeklop and every time I listen to the album again, it gets better
Thank god we can all agree this album is incredible
the MUSICIANSHIP and production on this album are both absolutely incredible. that's one aspect of this album I'm noticing has been soooo underrated and underappreciated. Matt is a freaking beast! Especially on bass guitar!
One of the best albums I've heard in a long time
2024 turned out to be a very good year. Billie Eilish, Clairo now Magdalena Bay. I think this tops them all… incredible stuff, actually blown away.
Always fan of your reviews my dear Tobias Funke ❤
Deserved a 10 but this is just as good. Cry for me is one of the best songs this decade
the resurgence of this new era pop music is fasinating
10 OUTTA 10 REVIEW IT AGAIN
Saw them in concert about a month ago and my god this shit slapped so hard in person. Not only great music but really cool visuals and costumes-the ballad of Matt and Mica was incredible live
Why is pop music launching an assault on me just let me listen to oingo boingo
This is literally my favourite album of all time, this and vespertine are just perfection
Going to their show tonight! Second time too
Lucky bastard 😔
You know an album is great when it has no skips and you struggle to find a least favourite. For me it's Angel on a Sattelite but I still love that song. Fear. Sex is actually one ofmy faves, those industrial sounds and that transition from Death and Romance is just chef's kiss.
9 is pretty apt, I feel like this is their strongest showing yet. Looking forward to what ever comes next for them as per usual
